摘要： An image-forming apparatus comprising multiple toner image-forming units that form toner images by developing electrostatic latent images by means of a developer containing a nonmagnetic toner and a magnetic carrier, wherein: each of the toner image-forming units further comprises a photoreceptor, a developing device that develops an electrostatic latent image borne on the surface of the photoreceptor, and multiple cleaning rolls having a magnetic particle layer of magnetic particles at the surface, which are located in the state freely rotatable and in contact with or in the neighborhood of the surface of the photoreceptor and absorb nonmagnetic toners present on the surface of the photoreceptor on the magnetic particle layer thereof by rotation; and the photoreceptor is rotating at a peripheral velocity of approximately 200 mm/sec or more.

摘要： A cleaning blade for a latent image holding member, an apparatus for forming an image and a process for forming an image are provided at a low cost, in which even in an apparatus for forming an image using a spherical toner, good cleaning property of the latent image holding member is ensured irrespective to the temperature environment upon use without deteriorating an image quality. The cleaning blade for removing a remaining toner by making in contact with a latent image holding member under pressure, as well as an apparatus for forming an image and a process for forming an image using the same are provided. The cleaning blade contains an elastic material having a 300% modulus of about from 14,700 to 29,400 kPa and a tearing strength of about 68,600 N/m or more.

The storage box includes a notch formed in a rear surface in the pulling direction. When the handle of the collection container is pressed backward in the pulling direction, a part of the collection container, which part is located backward in the pulling direction, protrudes from the storage box through the notch, so that the collection container inclines backward in the pulling direction.
