    • PURPOSE:To obtain a temperature distribution measuring instrument having high measurement accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Exciting light from a pulsed light source 14 is split into two parts having equal power through a coupler 12 and the split parts are respectively supplied to fibers 18 and 28 extended in parallel in an area to be measured for temperature. When the intensity ratio between Stokes light and anti-Stokes light returning from the fibers 18 and 28 is found at every time-domain as a signal intensity ratio from which the background component is eliminated, the temperature distribution in the area to be measured for temperature can be found. Since not only the Raman back scattered light returning from the fiber 18 but also the Raman scattered light returning from the fiber 28 can be measured, a sufficient light quantity can be secured for the detection of a detector 16 and the temperature measurement accuracy of this temperature distribution measuring instrument can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the extruded molding which has neither a void nor an air bubble in its border surface by extruding a resin material to coat an FRP material after removing residual volatile elements from the FRP material by a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:After the FRP material is treated thermally to remove the residual volatile elements in the FRP material, the FRP material is used as a core material and coated by extruding the resin material by a normal method. Namely, the surface of the core material 9 is treated thermally by a heating device 2 provided with a propane gas burner before the FRP material 9 mounted on a sending-out device is put in an extrusion die 5. The FRP core material 9 has its outer periphery coated with the resin material 14, fused in an extruder 4, in the extrusion die 5 by passing through the heating device 2 after the volatile elements in the core material 9 are removed. Consequently, neither the void nor the air bubble is generated in the border surface between the FRP core material and coating resin at the time of extrustion molding, and the extruded molding which has a beautiful surface outward shape and little variation in the external diameter is obtained.
