The aim of the invention is to allow for an as fast a measurement as possible of the bit error rate in a transmission system, especially a mobile radio system. To this end, a mobile station (2) that interlinks data received by a base station (1) or a test device via a downlink channel (DL) at least partially in such a manner that the resulting linkage or combination result is transmitted back to the base station (1) via an uplink channel (UL).
