    • The drive mechanism of a vacuum interrupter (1) has a two-armed lever (7), supported such that it can pivot, and a spring (11) which engages on the lever and provides the contact force. The two-armed lever (7) is guided in its bearing (oblong hole 9, pivot pin 8) such that it can move in a limited manner in a direction running approximately parallel to the direction of operation of the interrupter (1). On switching on, the two-armed lever (7), with its pivot pin (8), pivots about the end of the pin guide until the switching pieces (3, 5) make contact. Further pivoting of the lever (7) takes place about a hinge arrangement (6) between the two-armed lever (7) and the drive ram (4). The two-armed lever (7) can be formed from two parallel partial levers (20) at such a spacing that the spring (11) can engage between the partial levers.     • A vacuum circuit breaker (1) having two switching tubes (5) which are electrically connected in series and aligned coaxially. By means of an offset drive unit (toggle lever system 26) two motions that are contrary to one another are produced for the drive tappets (15) of the breaker tubes (5), from the common drive motion of a rod (11). The contact pressure springs (32) of the two switching tubes (5) are directly or indirectly connected to a common stationary support (35) which can be unfastened and moved to a new position. Simultaneous contacting or separation of the breaker elements of the two breaker tubes produced by the common drive is ensured by loosening the bearing block, after releasing the connection with the common drive mechanism, and fastening it again after the force differential has been automatically compensated for. The invention is suitable for vacuum circuit breakers in the medium-voltage range, such as those used to supply power to railroads.

    • The combined current and voltage measuring apparatus has a cast resin body which supports the current measuring unit. The voltage measuring unit includes a capacitive voltage divider with an amplifier connected thereto. The cast resin body is also utilized as dielectric for the capacitor on the high-voltage side of the capacitive voltage divider. Embedded in the cast resin body is an auxiliary capacitor with a dielectric which, with respect to temperature dependence, corresponds to the dielectric of the high-voltage capacitor. The auxiliary capacitor, in series with a resistor, is connected to an auxiliary generator. The voltage dropped across the resistor is supplied, after rectification, to an input of a differential amplifier; the other input of the differential amplifier is connected to the terminal away from ground of the capacitor on the low-voltage side of the capacitive voltage divider. With respect to the capacitors of the capacitive voltage divider, a warming of the capacitor on the high-voltage side different from the warming of the capacitor on the low-voltage side does not influence the measuring accuracy of the capacitive voltage measuring unit of the apparatus.
