    • PURPOSE:To execute loading/unloading of a number of containers at a pier in a safe, rapid and labor-saving manner. CONSTITUTION:A container handling gear is provided with a plurality sets of transverse rails 2 which are arranged in parallel at the specified space on board the horizontal upper deck of a container ship which is docked at a pier and laid on a slipway with small draft, a pair of vertical shaft pulleys 7, 8 which are respectively arranged on board the upper deck between the port side ones and between the starboard side ones of the transverse rails 2, 2 arranged on the extension line of the transverse rail 2 on the pier, and winch wheels 9 which are arranged respectively in the vicinity of other ends of the transverse rails on the pier and provided with vertical shaft winches 10, 11 in a projecting manner. Loop wires 12, 13 which are long in the ship breadth direction, provided in a stretching manner between the winch of the winch wheels 9 and the corresponding vertical shaft pulleys on the opposite side on the upper deck, and move in a circulating manner, and a rectangular shaped container pallets 15 which are loaded by a plurality of parallel-arranged containers and move along the transverse rails.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make high viscosity oil flowing out onto the sea surface, flow easily into a suction port so as to facilitate recovery by forming the suction port of an eductor pump into cylindrical shape, and providing an inward protrud ing edge at the upper end of the suction port. SOLUTION: An eductor pump 3 is fitted to a triangular frame 2 provided with floating bodies 1 at the respective vertexes, and the position relation between a suction port 4 and the sea surface is made adjustable to constitute an oil recovery device S. The eductor pump 3 jets high pressure water (w) from a nozzle 32 to suck oil in the suction port 4 by negative pressure, and transfers the oil to a support ship through a transfer hose 5. The suction port 4 is formed in cylindrical shape, and a wedge-like edge protruded inward is provided at the upper end of the suction port 4 so as to separate oil flowing out onto the sea surface, from the edge tip to make it flow down directly into the suction port 4, this preventing the oil from flowing down along the inner surface of the suction port 4. High viscosity oil exceeding 100,000 cp. can therefore flow down easily into the suction port 4 so as to be recovered efficiently.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the oil content of an oil-water mixed fluid in a bag body by fitting a filling hose and a drain hose to the bag body to make the bag body float on the sea, filling the oil-water mixed fluid to separate oil and water inside the bag body, and draining separated water. SOLUTION: A floating bodies 2 are fitted to the outer surface of a bag body 1 formed of an impermeable flexible membrane with rubber or cloth coated, so as to be able to float on the sea surface. A filling port 3 is provided at the tip of the bag body 1, and a drain port 6 is provided at a rear part inside the bag body 1 through a drain tube 8. Or an oil recovery ship, a filling hose 4 and a drain hose 10 are fitted to the bag body 1 through attaching/ detaching devices 5, 9 to throw the bag body 1 onto the sea, and an oil-water mixed fluid OW is filled into the bag body 1 through the filling hose 4 by a suction device of the oil recovery ship. With the lapse of time, oil in the bag body 1 is separated into an upper part, and water is separated into a lower part. The separated water W is suction-drained from the bag body 1 through the drain hose 10. The oil content of the oil-water mixed fluid OW in the bag body 1 is therefore improved, and the volume of the bag body 1 can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air and sea water from being sucker even if a suction port of an eductor pump is exposed onto the sea surface or sunk under the sea surface by waves by forming the suction port in cylindrical shape with the constant oil storage quantity. SOLUTION: An eductor pump 3 is fitted to a triangular frame 2 provided with floating bodies 1 at the respective vertexes, and the position relation between a suction port 4 and the seat surface is made adjustable to constitute an oil recovery device S. The eductor pump 3 jets high pressure water (w) from a nozzle 32 to suck oil in the suction port 4 by negative pressure, and transfers the oil to a support ship through a transfer hose 5. The suction port 4 is formed in cylindrical shape, and the oil storage quantity of the suction port 4 is set to be not less than the fixed value determined by the natural period of vertical motion of the oil recovery device S and the suction quantity of the eductor pump 3, so as to impart buffer function to the suction port 4. Suction of air and sea water can therefore be prevented even if the suction port 4 of the oil recovery device S is exposed onto the sea surface or sunk under the sea surface by waves.
