摘要： In a cellular communications network, a measurement report is requested to enable handover conditions to be established. In one approach, a measurement report is based on satisfaction of an event. Signalling for this measurement report includes one or more parameters on the basis of which the event is defined, including a trigger time defining a time period over which the event should be satisfied for the report to be triggered. In one approach, speed dependent scaling is applied to a parameter other than the trigger time, in the defined event. In another approach, a handover scenario, concerning the nature of the cell in which the user equipment is operational, and optionally that of a neighbouring cell, governs the definition of a trigger event.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting data using a multi-carrier in a mobile communication system. The method of transmitting data in user equipment of a wireless communication system using a carrier aggregation technique according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: setting secondary cells included in an S-TAG (Secondary-Timing Advance Group) configured of only secondary cells (SCells); deactivating a downlink timing reference cell in the S-TAG; determining whether other activated secondary cells exist besides the deactivated downlink timing reference cell in the S-TAG; and when the other activated secondary cells exist in the S-TAG, setting one of the other activated secondary cells as a new downlink timing reference cell. According to the present invention, uplink transmission speed can be increased in the user equipment and user QoS can be improved by transmitting data using one or more uplink carriers in the terminal.

In one embodiment, a method of an evolved Node B (eNB) for measuring layer 2 load conditions in a wireless network environment includes determining total number of physical resource blocks allocated to the eNB in uplink and downlink and determining number of physical resource blocks which are unavailable in uplink and downlink. The method further includes computing number of physical resource blocks available for use during a pre-determined time period by subtracting the number of unavailable physical resource blocks from the number of allocated physical resource blocks. Moreover, the method includes reporting the number of physical resource blocks available for use during a pre-determined time period to an Operation And Maintenance (OAM) entity in the wireless network environment.
