    • The present invention relates to a propulsion unit (101) for an aircraft, including: a stationary assembly; a cowl, which is pivotable between an operating position and a maintenance position allowing access to the turbojet for regular maintenance operations and irregular maintenance operations; at least one actuator (123) secured to the stationary assembly via a main fitting (125) mounted on the stationary assembly and rigidly connected to the movable cowl; at least one safety rod (129) rigidly connected to the movable cowl and to the stationary assembly via said main fitting. The propulsion assembly according to the invention is characterised in that: the actuator (123) is sized such as to allow the cover to alternate between an operating position and a position for regular maintenance only; the safety rod (129) is sized such as to hold the cover in the position for regular maintenance only; and the main fitting (125) is sized such as to allow regular maintenance operations only. The assembly is also characterised in that it includes a secondary fitting (145) mounted on the main fitting (125), sized such as to allow irregular maintenance operations, and supporting at least said actuator (123) when the cover is in an irregular maintenance position.

    • The invention relates to a thrust reverser (18) for a nacelle (10) of an aircraft turbofan including at least one movable thrust reverser cover (20), a means for locking the cover (20), a variable-exhaust output nozzle (22) which is arranged forming a downstream extension of said cover (20) and which is movable, and at least one actuator (24) which includes an actuator rod (28) suitable for moving the variable nozzle (22) and the movable cover (20), characterised in that the reverser (18) is provided with a resilient coupler (30) comprising a body (32) which is rigidly connected to the thrust reverser cover (20), resilient return means (48) and abutments which are supported by the body (32) of the coupler (30) and which engage with the actuating rod (28) of the actuator (24) such as to resiliently return the nozzle (22) into the neutral position thereof, said return means (48) being calibrated such that, when the cover (20) is unlocked, the return means (48) oppose the relative movement of the actuating rod (28) relative to the cover (20), such as to enable the movement of the assembly consisting of the cover (20) and the nozzle (22), and when the cover (20) is locked, the actuator (24) drives the actuating rod (28) against the return means (48), such as to enable the movement of the nozzle (22).
