The present invention further relates to the use of compounds of formula (I) as cyan and/or infrared couplers in colour photographic silver halide materials.

摘要： A suitable mordanting polymer for the image receiving layer in a color photographic material for the dye diffusion transfer process is a water-soluble cationic polymer containing glycidyl groups. Such polymers can be made by quaternizing a basic polyurethane, polyurea or polyurea polyurethane of the formula ##STR1## with a quaternizing agent capable of introducing glycidyl groups. The recurring unit contains a quaternizable tertiary amino group, and the recurring unit B is derived from a bis-chloroformate or a diisocyanate.
