摘要： A realtime video display method of mixed signals applies to a monitoring system. The monitoring system has a monitoring host connected to a plurality of digital monitoring devices and a plurality of analog monitoring devices. In this method, digital video data from an Internet/LAN/WAN and analog video data from a transmission interface are first received. Next, a data fetch server is used to collect the video data for processing and then output the processed image data to a data mixer. The data mixer then merges the digital video data and the analog video data into a signal mixing different data sources. The digital video data and the analog video data can thus be displayed at a browse terminal in real time. Therefore, signals of different types can be integrated for realtime display on the same management screen to effectively exploit a real benefit of security management.

摘要： A geophysical prospecting method comprises injecting signal energy in the form of at least two pseudo-random pulse sequences of the complementary sequence type into an underground formation. Next, the signal energy is detected after it has been attenuated by passing through the underground formations in the form of response signals. The response signals are correlated with reference signals comprising at least two pseudo-random binary sequences to yield correlations. The correlations are summed so that the resultant signal which corresponds to the subsurface response signal does not have secondary lobes. The method is applicable to seismic prospecting and more particularly to cross-well seismic surveying. It is also applicable to acoustic prospecting for logging measurements. In a preferred embodiment, the pseudo-random sequences comprise a pair of Golay sequences.

The housing also includes a flexible cylindrical sleeve, positioned along the common axis between two of the plurality of cylindrical segments, that includes a first and second region with an outer diameter no larger than a common segment inner diameter and a third region located between the first and second regions and with an outer diameter no larger than a common segment outer diameter (the first and second regions each at least partially inserted into an end of one segment). A stiffness controller controls the stiffness of the tool housing by controlling at least part of an axial force exerted between the two segments.

摘要： A monitor adapted for mounting in an automobile headrest is provided. A screen structure of the monitor is pivotable about an upper edge thereof, such that the monitor occupies little volume within the headrest. A viewing angle of the screen structure is independently adjustable by a viewer, such that the viewer can continuously select the optimum viewing angle with changing conditions inside the automobile. The screen structure automatically retracts into a housing when struck. Thus, the monitor poses little risk of injury to passengers. The housing of the monitor is attachable to the headrest with screws, which provides a very sturdy connection and reduces the chances of the housing becoming detached from the headrest during a vehicle collision. The hinged connection between the screen structure and the housing is preferably constructed of interconnected components made from sturdy materials, such as metals. Hinge components are optionally secured with metal fastening members and fastening apertures made of metal and strong plastics. The hinges are thus unlikely to break during a vehicle collision.

A video portion of the first audiovisual signal or the second audiovisual signal is displayed on the first video monitor, on the second video monitor, or on both the first video monitor and the second video monitor.
