    • A method and system of indexing into trace data based on entries in a log buffer. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are methods comprising executing a traced program on a target device. The traced program writes entries to a log buffer within the target device, and the traced program also contemporaneously writes an index value for each entry to a register. The index value written to the register becomes part of trace data regarding the traced program and correlates each entry to a respective portion of the trace data. Using the information one may either or both: display on a display device a portion of the trace data (the portion selected based on selecting an entry from the log buffer); or display on the display a portion of the log buffer (the portion selected based on selecting an entry from the trace data).

    • Determining operating context of an executed instruction. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are a computer-readable medium storing a debug-trace program that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to display trace data on a display device (the trace data comprising a plurality of addresses of instructions executed by a target processor), enable a user of the debug-trace program to select an address of the plurality of addresses to create a selected address, and display data based on an operating context proximate in time to when the instruction of the selected address was executed on the target processor.
    • 确定执行指令的操作上下文。 至少一些说明性实施例是存储调试跟踪程序的计算机可读介质,该调试跟踪程序在由处理器执行时使处理器在显示设备上显示跟踪数据(跟踪数据包括执行的指令的多个地址 通过目标处理器)使得调试跟踪程序的用户能够选择多个地址的地址以创建所选择的地址,并且在时间上基于操作上下文显示数据,当所选地址的指令是 在目标处理器上执行。

    • The retrieval tool includes a cylindrical member having a body, an inner passage, a guide cylinder and an engaging member. The engaging member may slide within the cylindrical member in order to frictionally engage a whipstock against an inner surface of the guide cylinder, facilitating removal of the whipstock from a borehole. A actuating member, piston, retainer and swivel sub may be used to connect the engaging member to the retrieval tool and enhance the mobility of the engaging member within the cylindrical member. A spring may also facilitate locking engagement of the engaging member and whipstock. Contact between the retrieval tool and the whipstock may lead to an increase of pressure within the inner passage, such pressure increasing the engagement between the engaging member and whipstock.

    • A teleconferencing system, including apparatus and methods, for providing transcription and/or translation services during a teleconference is disclosed. The disclosed teleconferencing system establishes a voice connection and a data connection with participants to the teleconference desiring transcription services. The speech of each participant to the teleconference is transcribed using voice recognition technology in real or near-real time. Additionally, the transcribed text may be translated into a participant's desired language. The translation may be generated in real or near-real time on a word by word basis or alternatively, on a phrase by phrase or sentence by sentence basis. The translated and transcribed text is displayed for a participant using the established data connection. The transcribed (and possibly translated) text may be displayed in real or near-real time during a participant's speech. Audio translation services are also provided to a participant using text to speech software to generate an audio signal from the translated and transcribed text.
