摘要： PURPOSE:To perform electric fusion in all sockets with only one current application by winding a heating wire around one socket in double lines by folding, and then winding one end of the heating wire around the other socket and the other end around the remaining socket. CONSTITUTION:A heating wire 20 is bent onto the inner surface of a socket 16 and wound spirally in double lines to form a heating wire part 22. One end of the heating wire 20 is wound spirally in a single line around the inner surface of a socket 12 to form a heating wire part 24, and the other end is wound spirally in a single line around the inner surface of a socket 14 to form a heating wire part 26. Current applying ends 28, 30 are then formed at the end parts of the heating wire parts 24, 26. The heating wires formed at all sockets 12, 14, 16 are thereby made into one continuous heating wire, so that electric fusion in all sockets 12, 14, 16 is performed by applying currents from a pair of current applying ends 28, 30 only once, which results in improving construction performance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect abnormality with high accuracy by comparing resistance variation rate data which is found from the difference between last and current measurement data with standard resistance variation rate data in the same elapsed time and detecting the abnormality according to whether the difference is large or small. CONSTITUTION:The heating power source 8 of welding device main body B outputs a heating current to the electric resistance heating body 2 of the thermoplastic tube joint 1 intermittently for a total electric feeding time T3 including an electric feeding time T1 and a nonfeeding time T2, and the current is fed until the joint 1 is welded thermally to a thermoplastic con nected tube 4. Further, the resistance of the heating body 2 in an electrically heated state is measured in the time T2 at each time. A current used for this resistance measurement is supplied from a fine stabilized power source 9. This power source 9 is a constant current power source and already known, so test current is fed to the heating body 2, whose terminal voltage is measured to find the resistance value of the heating body 2 by an arithmetic part 10. Then the arithmetic result is compared 12 with the known standard resistance varia tion rate data of a standard resistance variation rate data part 11 in the same elapsed time to make a decision 13 on abnormality when the upper or lower limit value of the standard resistance variation rate data is exceeded.
