摘要： An interior illumination lamp includes a body 30 for being fixed to a vehicle body 11, and a lamp 50 which is angularly movably supported on a support portion 33 mounted on the body 30, and has a lens 54 capable of transmitting a beam from a light source 37 therethrough. The lamp 50 includes a first bezel 52 angularly movably supported on the support portion 33, and a second bezel 53 which holds the lens 54, and is mounted on the first bezel 52. The second bezel 53 has a reflecting surface 55 for receiving and reflecting transmitted light through the lens 54, and this reflecting surface is designed to have a low reflectance. By doing so, the light, reflected by the reflecting surface 55, is not glaring, and therefore a beam, coming into the driver's sight via a room mirror, is not glaring, and therefore will not affect the driving operation.

A temperature compensation element is provided on the silicon substrate for each sensor element adjacently to the sensor element, and performs temperature correction to an output of the sensor element. Accordingly, the infrared image sensor can provide stable output even when environmental temperature varies.

摘要： A discriminator is provided in a driving system for a plasma display panel so as to discriminate whether an input video signal is a moving picture signal or a still picture signal, and an A/D converter is provided for sampling the video signal for producing a pixel data having n-bit. The pixel data is converted into a false contour correcting pixel data having a (n+m)-bit based on a correcting pixel data derived from a table. A controller selects the false contour correcting pixel data when the input video signal is a moving picture signal, and selects the pixel data from the A/D converter when a still picture signal. The plasma display panel is driven by a pixel data determined by the controller.

A second control device includes a cut-off control circuit for mode switching and a drive control circuit for mode switching, independent of the first control device.
