      SOLUTION: A three-dimensional display device includes a plurality of display devices arranged in different depth positions as seen from an observer, and at least two display devices of the plurality of display devices comprise: a transparent screen having properties for reflecting or diffusing light made incident at a preset specific angle and transmitting light made incident from directions except that; and a projection type display device projecting and displaying an image on the transparent screen. The direction where the display efficiency of the transparent screen is maximum is not parallel in two transparent screens and the optical axis of the projection type display device is nearly equal to the directions where the display efficiencies of the transparent screens are maximum. The display device of the final surface as seen from the observer of the plurality of display devices is an opaque two-dimensional display device.
