    • PURPOSE:To iron a cylinder part with a die and to form a flanged cylinder member with high precision by fitting a groove provided on a cylindrical surface around a flange on one end of a cylinder part with the internal diameter part of a sectional die, inserting a wiping punch into the cylinder and moving at least one of a punch and the die. CONSTITUTION:A work W and a corresponding punch 15 are provided at the lower end of a slide and an annular groove (h) is formed on an external diameter surface of a cylinder part (a) in the circumference of a flange (f) of the work W. Then, split dies D1, D2 are assembled into a circular form and when the internal diameter part is fitted to the groove (h) of the work W, a rod 5 for loading the work, and the punch 15 fall down. Therefore, the work W passes through the inside of a die D assembled in a circular form, the external diameter part of the work W is ironed by the die D, the internal diameter surface of the work W sticks to the external circumference surface of the punch 15 to form the external circumference surface and the internal circumference surface.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate connecting work of an outer ring material to a shaft member, solve the problem of thermal deformation at the time of connecting work, and embody miniaturization, lightening of a constant velocity universal joint. CONSTITUTION:An outer ring is constructed with a cup-shaped outer ring material 1 made by press-molding a cylindrical material in a specified shape, and a shaft member 2 that possesses a spline part 2a at the part of its inside diameter. The outer ring material 1 possesses a guide groove 1a that becomes a power transmission part and a holder guide surface 1b, and moreover, cylindrical connecting part 1c to connect the shaft member 2. The shaft member 2 is fitted in the part of the inside diameter of the connecting part 1c, and minute projections 2b in a longitudinal direction are formed in the form of spline on its outer circumferential surface, and these projections 2b in the longitudinal direction and a plastic deformation part 1d deformed by the projections 2b in the axial direction on the inner circumferential surface of the connecting part 1c engage with each other rigidly, and restrain the outer ring material 1 and the shaft member 2 each other in the axial direction and in the circumferential direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight even in a hub bearing having a large diameter as a press molding uniformed in the whole plate thickness of the outer bearing member and inner bearing member of the hub bearing. SOLUTION: A hub bearing A has an outer bearing member 1 and an inner bearing member 2 which are formed by press molding metal thick plates. The outer bearing member 1 is formed of an integrated product of a cylindrical pilot part 1a to which the shaft part 6a of a joint outer ring 6, a flat flange part 1b fixed to a wheel, and a cylindrical bearing outer ring part 1c to the inner circumference of which a rolling body 3 is installed. The inner bearing member 2 is formed of an integrated product of a cylindrical bearing inner ring part 2a to the outer circumference of which the rolling body 3 is installed, and a flat body mounting part 2b fixed to a car body. An equal joint B is connected to the outer bearing member 1 through the body mounting part 2b, and at this time, an internal space (m) as a heat insulating space enclosed by each member 1, 2 is positively formed on the whole circumference of the joint outer ring 6.
