    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrinkling and to execute sure coiling and transportation even when it is an extremely thin strip by moving each guide roll of looper equipment to decrease the tranportation speed of the strip. SOLUTION: First, the amount of loop is zero by lowering vertically movable guide rolls 4a, 4b of the looper equipment 15 to the same positions as pinch rolls 3, 5. When the strip 13 which is delivered from the final stand 1 reaches inlet-side pinch rolls 3, rolling speed is continued by the same pattern as the conventional one at the final stand 1. On the other hand, with the outlet-side pinch rolls 5, speed control is executed at a speed at which the strip 13 is stably threaded and the head part is delivered to a coiler 12. The loop which is generated by speed difference between the pinch rolls 5 and the final stand 1 during this process is absorbed with the looper equipment 15. When the strip 13 coiles round the coiler 12, the amount of loop is controlled by controlling the circumferential speed of the outlet-side pinch rolls 5 in synchronism with the circumferential speed of the final stand 1.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the correct speed control of a carrier roller by correcting an advance rate estimation model equation by using the advance rate re- arithmetic operation vale amended by arithmetic operation from an observed advance rate and observed parameter value and by performing the speed control by using the estimation value adding the correction. CONSTITUTION:The advance rate is found by the advance rate estimation model equation by integrating the pulse number generated from the pulse generator 5 of a driving motor 4 while the tip of a rolled stock 1 is passed through the space between the tip position detecting devices 6, 7 at the rolling roll 2 outlet side, in the 1st stage. In the 2nd stage an advance rate re-arithmetic operation value is found with the re-arithmetical operation by using the observed value for the variable which is used for the arithmetic equation finding the advance rate. The speed of the rolled stock 1 at the roll 2 inlet side and outlet side is estimated by correcting the advance rate estimation model equation by the value obtd. at the 1st and 2nd stages, in the 3rd stage. A carrier table roller 3 is subjected to a speed control by setting to this estimation value. In this way the correct speed control of the carrier table roller can be performed.
