摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture frames in any desired form simply and inexpensively by forming pipe components from continuous fiber impregnated with resin, arranging them in the specified frame configuration, forming then a lug part at each component, and at the same time carrying out assembly of the whole frame. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing frames, such components as an upper pipe 1, lower pipe 2, vertical pipe 3, rear fork 4, and chain stay 5 are first formed from continuous fiber impregnated with resin. Then a rear pawl 6, head pipe 7, seat pipe 8, hanger lug 9 are fixed together with the abovementioned components 1-5 by the use of a jig 10 in conformity to the specified dimensions. Lug parts are formed at the mating ends of these components 1-9, and thus a frame is accomplished. That is, the gap between the mating ends of for ex. the pipes 1, 2, 7 is filled with a foaming substance, etc., 13, and a prepreg. 14 layer is put on it, pressurized, heated, and hardened, and thus the specified lug part is formed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out manufacture easily and quickly by filling the inside of a female die with a foaming substance while a soft sheet is interposed, foaming it and taking out of the female die, then putting a foaming sheet, etc., on the outside of the mentioned foamed substance, and accommodating this substance again in the female die followed by a thermal hardening process. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing, first bi-sected dies 31, 31' are provided whose inside assumes the shape of the intended product, and soft sheets 32, 32' are affixed to the inner surfaces. The inside of thse dies 31, 31' is filled with a foaming substance, which is allowed to foam and harden. Then the substance is taken out of the dies, and the soft sheets 32, 32' are exfoliated from the inner surfaces. Thus a molding is obtained, in which the foaming material 2 is in tight contact with the periphery of a skeleton 1. From above the skelet 1 and foaming substance 2, a foamed sheet and continuous fiber impregnated with resin are placed, and the dies are tightened again, and the whole is heated to accomplish a three-dimensionally shaped final product 33.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the high dimensional accuracy by a method wherein expandable resin sheet is wound round the periphery of a core and further resin- impregnated fiber is piled outside onto the sheet and the resultant assembly is charged in a female mold and heated and hardened. CONSTITUTION:Expandable resin sheet 2 is wound on a core 1 and further resin-impregnated fiber 3 is laminated onto the sheet. After that, the resultant assembly is charged in a female mold 4 and heated. By heating, the expandable resin sheet 2 expands and set, resulting in pushing the resin-impregnated fiber 3 against the inside of the female mold 4 so as to produce three dimensional structural member. Thus, member favorable in dimensional accuracy and external appearance can be manufactured with a simple manufacturing process.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacturing of a pipe having arbitrary shape by a method wherein a bag, in which a core is placed, is prepared so as to cover the outside the bag by resin-impregnated fiber stock and, after that, the whole assembly is transferred in a female die for forming under the state being brought into close contact with the female die internally by applying internal pressure inside the bag and finally the core is removed from the female die. CONSTITUTION:A core 1, the dimensions of which are smaller than the inner diameter of a final molding, is put in a bag 2 made of film-like stock and a fluid inflowing tube 2 is inserted from the mouth of the bag. Next, resin-impregnated fiber stock 3 is wound round the outside of the bag 2, in which the core is placed for hardening and forming. The whole assembly is transferred in a female die 4 and, after that, the female mold is clamped. Next hardening is performed under the the state that the bag 2 is inflated by applying fluid pressure through the fluid inflowing tube 5 so as to bring the resin-impregnated fiber stock 3 into close contact with the inside of the female die 4. After that, the fluid pressure is released and the film is cut open in order to take the core out of the bag. Thus a pipe having arbitrary shape is easily obtained. And the wall thickness of the pipe is controlled so as to have the desired one. A product having high dimensional accuracy can be manufactured at low cost.
