    • In a cylinder head structure of a multi-cylinder engine, a head-side water jacket is provided in the cylinder head, a lateral rib extending in the engine width direction is provided at an upper face of the portion located between cylinders of bottom deck, the lateral rib bifurcates, getting around intake-side and exhaust-side connecting holes connecting the head-side water jacket with a water jacket in cylinder block, its both ends are connected with intake-port and exhaust-port walls, and its top portion is configured so as to become taller gradually from its central portion toward its outside portions.Accordingly, rigidity of the portion located between cylinders of the cylinder head can be increased in the cylinder-line direction as well as in the vertical direction, which can improve the sealing between the cylinder block and the cylinder head.

    • The bending device comprises a hydraulic motor for moving a feeding table, and a hydraulic circuit including first and second switching valves which can be selectively switched between a speed control channel for supplying operating oil from a discharge-rate variable hydraulic pump to the hydraulic motor by way of a servo valve and a pressure control channel for supplying high pressure operating oil from the hydraulic pump to the hydraulic motor. When the feeding table provided with a chuck mechanism gripping a longitudinal material is moved to a bending mechanism to bend the material, control of the speed and application of axial compressive force can be conducted by switching of the first and second switching valves.

    • In an IC socket for an electrical part, a contact pin electrically connecting a terminal of an electrical part and a printed circuit board is provided for a socket body of an IC socket. The contact pin comprises a sleeve having a space with one end opening, a plunger inserted into the sleeve through the end opening thereof to be vertically movable and an elastic member for urging downward the plunger. The sleeve is arranged to be vertically movable with respect to the socket body and is provided with a contact portion formed to an upper end thereof contacts a terminal of the electrical part to be electrically connected thereto and the plunger has a lower end contacting the printed circuit board to establish an electrical connection therebetween.
