摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent floating up of a steel strip and eventually to immerse the steel strip in a pickling soln. so as to improve pickling performance by disposing at least a pair of gates in a pickling cell. CONSTITUTION:>=1 Pairs of gates 12 are disposed in the pickling cell so as to sandwich the steel strip from above and below. The gates 12 has nozzles 13 worked to a cushion shape. The pickling soln. 4 is increased in pressure by a pump 17 and is supplied through a piping 15 with a valve 16 to headers 14. The soln. is sprayed in the form of jets to the steel strip 15 from the nozzles 13. A pressure pocket region 18 of a high pressure is formed to the intermediate part of the nozzles 13 by the jets of the pickling soln. from the cushion type nozzle 13 having an angle and the steel strip 5 is passed to the central part between the gates 12 by such region 18.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the distance between electrode plates and to save power consumption while minimizing the lowering of the structural strength by using an edge mask plurality split in the longitudinal direction of the electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:An edge mask 11 is supported by a slide plate 12 through a screw 13 and plurality split in the traveling direction of a steel strip 1. A contact preventing plate 10 is arranged in each gap of the mask 11. The slide surface of the mask 11 forms a slide surface while keeping a slight clearance with the inner surface of the electrode plate 2. The mask is made movable by a slide mechanism to cope with the strips 5 having various widths. By this constitution, the distance between the electrode plates is reduced and the power consumption is saved while securing the thickness of the mask 11 sufficient in strength.

摘要： PURPOSE:To quicken the supply of a strip coil to a line by rotating the strip coil provided in parallel on a line by a rotating device, opening the tip part by an end opening means and pulling out the strip along the line by a pulling out means as well. CONSTITUTION:The strip coil 14 on a coil car 26 is pressed by a pressurizing roller 37 to bring a plate end detector 39 into contact with the coil 14. Then, the coil 14 is turned counter-clock wisely by a cradle roll 30 and stopped at the time when the detector 39 detects the plate end. Then, the pressurizing roll 37 and detector 39 are retreated to the upper part and the tip of a wedge 44 is abutted to the coil 14. The coil 14 is then turned clockwisely, the plate end is opened by the tip of the wedge 44, a strip plate 17 is passed onto the wedge 44 and held by the upper and lower clamps 57, 58 of a clamp car 53. The coil car 26 and clamp car 53 are moved to a rolling line to charge the coil 14 to a payoff reel 12. The holding of the strip plate 17 by the upper and lower clamps 57, 58 is then released to retreat the clamp car 53 and the supply of the coil 14 is completed.

The pickling device is compacted and also pickling velocity on both faces of the band steel is uniformed. Moreover air is pulsated by the pulsation device and pickling liquid is intermittently injected from the nozzles and pickling treatment effect is enhanced.

The finishing state can be made better by subjecting the sheet to electrolysis 17 in the sulfuric acid, the nitric acid or the neutral salt solution after irradiating the laser beam and further immersing 15 in the aqueous solution of the nitric acid or the hydrofluoric acid.

The loop car 11 is thereafter drawn inside the casing by driving a winding drum 14 and the casing side wall 3a is closed to execute threading between a steering roll 12a and guide roll 11a. At the time of cutting the steel strip 1 as well, it is welded by pulling it out of the air tight casing 3 in the order reverse to the above approximately. Since a plate passing and connection are made easily outside an airtight chamber, a working time is remarkably shortened and a maintenance inspection is facilitated.
