    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a self-exciting phenomenon by providing a control means which opens a switching means when a fault occurs at a power source or the power supply from the power source is stopped while the power source performs a characteristic test on an induction motor. CONSTITUTION:This induction motor characteristic testing device is provided with a detecting means 19 which detects the operating states of power sources 1 and 2 and a control means 20 which controls the opening and closing of contacts 11-13 in accordance with the detected results of the detecting means 19. When a three-phase AC power source or a variable power source is stopped or becomes faulty while a characteristic test is performed on an induction motor M, the stoppage or faulty state is detected by the detecting means 19 and transmitted to the control means 20. Then the control means 20 opens the stop signal contact 12 or fault signal contact 13. As a result, the excitation of an exciting coil 16 is stopped and a magnet contactor acting as a switching means is opened. Accordingly, the induction motor M and an LC filter are diconnected from each other and a self-exciting phenomenon is certainly prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To make the rate of content of harmonic component constant and to reduce by comparing an inverted triangle wave with a sine wave and making ignition signals of switching elements of a pair of inverter circuit. CONSTITUTION:An inverter controlling device is constituted of a velocity command means 1, a voltage/frequency command implementation circuit 2 implementing a voltage command and a frequency command from the command means 1, a PWM signal implementation circuit 3, a voltage controlling circuit 4, base amplifier circuits 5a-5b, a gate amplifier circuit 6, a thyristor full-wave rectifier circuit 8 of three phase AC power supply 7, a DC reactor 9, a smoothing electrolytic capacitor 10, inverter circuits 11a-11b by an transistor and a coupling reactor 12. A sine wave is compared with a inverted triangle wave, ignition signals of inverter circuits 11a-11b are implemented, and two or more even numbered inverter circuits 11a-11b are ignited at different points by these ignition signals. In addition, the multiple coupling of the output is made by a coupling reactor 12, and the harmonic wave is offset to suppress it.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate imbalance between positive and negative output voltage by arranging a minimum pulse width control circuit in the prestage of a gate amplifier thereby monitoring the length of a signal for turning a main element ON or OFF and constituting the circuit such that the ON and OFF time intervals endure for longer than a predetermined time interval. CONSTITUTION:A short circuit preventing time producing circuit 5 produces a time interval Td for preventing short circuit of upper and lower arms for U, V, W pulse width modulation signals outputted from a pulse width modulation circuit 3 thus producing a signal for turning upper and lower elements ON or OFF. When the U, V, W pulse width modulated signals fed from the PWM circuit 3 endure shorter than the short circuit preventive time interval Td, the PWM signal is erased thus ensuring pulse width OFF interval for the PWM circuit 3. A minimum ON pulse width control circuit 8 then erases signals having ON interval shorter than a predetermined interval thus producing a signal having long ON interval.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent elements from being damaged by using a signal from a short-circuit detecting means for switching semiconductors so as to determine whether a device can be restarted or not after a failure. CONSTITUTION:An inverter controller is composed of an inverter formed with arms 2-4 corresponding to phases U-W, start and stop commanding section 6, a failure detecting circuit 7, a failure resetting circuit 8, a gate signal forming circuit 17, a gate circuit 10, and the like, and a motor 11 is driven by the inverter. In this case, phases U-W transistor short-circuit detecting circuits 12-14 are provided to detect short circuits. Then, a start discrimination circuit 15 for discriminating whether the inverter can be started or not with the signal, and a short circuit failure indicating circuit 16 are provided. When the inverter can be started, then the output of a start permitting signal and a transistor availability indicating signal is generated, and when the inverter cannot be started, then the outputs of start inhibiting signal and transistor failure signal are generated.

    • PURPOSE:To drive all motors by setting constant-output point frequency and maximum frequency to arbitrary frequency. CONSTITUTION:A frequency command preparation circuit 5 prepares a frequency command by a speed command 1 and a maximum frequency command from a circuit 4 or a command from a maximum-frequency setting circuit 12. A voltage command preparation circuit 6 prepares a voltage command by the speed command 1 and a constant-output point frequency selecting switch 2 and the maximum frequency command from the circuit 4 or the speed command 1 and a constant-output point frequency setting circuit 11 and the command from the maximum-frequency setting circuit 12. When the constant-output point frequency setting circuit 11 is set to arbitrary frequency of 30-120Hz and the maximum-frequency setting circuit 12 is set to arbitrary frequency of 30-120Hz, the relationship of voltage outputted from an inverter 8 and frequency is shown in a section surrounded by (a) and (b) in the graph.
