    • A touch panel includes an upper substrate, an upper conductive layer, a lower substrate, a lower conductive layer, and dot spacers. The upper substrate includes a substrate layer and a hard coat layer disposed on the top surface of the substrate layer. The upper conductive layer is disposed on the bottom of the upper substrate. The lower conductive layer is disposed on the top surface of the lower substrate in such a manner as to confront the upper conductive layer with a predetermined space therebetween. The dot spacers are disposed on the lower conductive layer. The hard coat layer has an outer surface with a ten-point average roughness Rz in the range from 17.7 μm to 40.0 μm, inclusive.

    • A touch panel includes a light-transmittable upper substrate, a light-transmittable upper resistor layer on a lower surface of the upper substrate, a light-transmittable lower substrate, a light-transmittable lower resistor layer on an upper surface of the lower substrate, an adhesive layer on an upper surface of the upper substrate, and a light-transmittable plate on the adhesive layer. The upper substrate is made of material having oxygen and nitrogen removed therefrom. The lower resistor layer faces the upper resistor layer by a distance. The light-transmittable plate disables oxygen and nitrogen to pass through the plate substantively. Even being used in high temperatures, this touch panel does not produce an air bubble in the adhesive layer, hence allowing a user to clearly view a display device through the touch panel.

    • A wiring board used for various electronic apparatuses, an input device such as an optically transparent touch panel using the wiring board, and a method of manufacturing the input device. A plurality of electrodes provided at the side of one end of one principal surface of wiring board, wiring patterns coupled to electrodes, and a connector disposed region provided at the side of the other end of wiring board are provided. In this connector disposed region, connectors are disposed. In substantially the central portion of the connector disposed region, a concave portion is provided and in the vicinity of connectors, a bending portion is disposed.     • A touch panel which is constituted by using an adhesive layer having a thickness which is 70% or more of a thickness of an approximately picture-frame-like spacer which allows respective outer peripheries of an upper substrate and a lower substrate to adhere to each other is provided. Due to such a constitution, when the touch panel is used under high temperature or in an environment where the temperature difference is severely large so that the thermal expansion or shrinkage is generated on upper substrate or lower substrate, these thermal expansion and shrinkage can be absorbed by the thick and soft adhesive layer. As a result, it is possible to suppress the peeling-off of upper and lower substrates thus realizing a surely manipulable touch panel.

    • A spindle for an electrostatic painting machine has a main spindle and a rotor coupled to the rear end of the main spindle. The main spindle and the rotor are rotatably supported through bearing gaps of externally pressurized gas bearing portions, and a paint spray head is mounted to one end of the main spindle. A current-carrying member having conductivity with the housing is brought into contact with the main spindle and floated off it via a small gap due to dynamic pressure produced by the rotation of the main spindle. With this arrangement, it is ensured that discharge occurs at gaps of externally pressurized gas bearing portions, sputtering is suppressed, and the life of the spindle is prolonged.
