摘要： A shock absorbing interposer is positionable between a manually manipulatable handle and a faucet of a beverage dispenser for dispensing a beverage. The interposer includes a faucet adapter mechanism for interconnecting to a lever of the faucet and a handle adapter mechanism for interconnecting to the handle. A shock absorbing member is operatively connected to the faucet adapter mechanism and the handle adapter mechanism to dissipate excessive forces applied to the handle as the handle is moved between a first operative position and a second operative position in order to reduce the likelihood that such excessive forces will be exerted on the faucet and handle. A faucet assembly including a faucet, handle and shock absorbing interposer is also provided.

摘要： A system and a method for processing an incoming telephone call to an alarm system central monitoring station using call source identification data such as caller ID. The alarm system central monitoring station can use the caller ID information transmitted by the telephone company to make decisions as to how to process a call prior to the central monitoring station receiver answering the call. The central monitoring station will process the call by checking if the caller ID information matches caller ID information stored in memory and it will check status information associated with the caller ID information to determine if the call should be disconnected, transferred, or connected. In order to accomplish this the central monitoring station comprises receiving circuits for detecting an incoming telephone call on the telephone line and reading caller ID information associated with the call, switching circuits coupled to the receiving circuitry for transferring the call if necessary, memory for storing status information comprising the caller ID information, and processing circuitry for determining if caller ID information has been stored in the memory, and if it has, then accessing the status information and processing the call as a function of the status information. The central monitoring station may process the call by 1) transferring the call to an invalid alarm call station, 2) connecting the call to a central monitoring station receiver, a second central monitoring station receiver, or a second line of a central monitoring station receiver, or 3) disconnecting the call.

摘要： The “Internal Deflector for Respiratory Mask” is a one piece plastic deflector held in place by two adjustable mounting screws. It is designed to fit inside of a respiratory mask (cpap). The deflector prevents a direct flow of air/gas into the mask user's airways without inhibiting or impeding the set flow or pressure of the device. The shape is consistent (FIG. 1A); the size varies slightly and is determined by the size of mask it is to be installed in, e.g. small, medium, large. The deflector has an adjustment screw (FIG. 2A) to allow for quick minor wearer adjustments. This deflector greatly reduces the irritation and discomfort of the interior of the mouth and nostrils associated with the use of respiratory masks.
