    • A Ku-band integrated pre-distortion type linearizer bridge circuit for use in linearizing the performance of a traveling wave tube amplifier. The linearizer bridge circuit comprises linearizer bridge that embodies a phase shifter and a fixed delay in a linear arm, and a Schottky diode distortion generator and a PIN diode attenuator in a nonlinear arm. The output of the linearizer bridge is coupled through an output amplifier and an output attenuator. The RF output signal from the linearizer bridge circuit is coupled to the traveling wave tube amplifier. A control circuit is coupled to the phase shifter, the nonlinear Schottky diode distortion generator circuit, and the PIN diode attenuator, and receives on and off input command signals, and outputs a bilevel telemetry signal that is used as a mode indicator for ground command control. The control circuit is used to adjust settings of the Schottky diode distortion generator, the phase shifter, the PIN diode attenuator, and adjust the gain and attenuation settings of the output amplifier and output attenuator. All circuits of the linearizer bridge circuit are integrated onto a single alumina substrate.

    • An apparatus for testing number of turns, used for testing the number of turns of a winding coil on an electrical machine stator with concentrated winding, comprising: a base (6); a rod-shaped rotor bracket (4) around one end of which an excitation coil (1) is wound and around the other end of which a standard coil (2) is wound; a joining member for joining the base (6) with the rotor bracket (4) so that the base (6) and the rotor bracket (4) can rotate relative to each other, wherein the plane of the base (6) is parallel to the rotor bracket (4); a fixing member for fixing the electrical machine stator (5) with concentrated winding to the base (6) so as to make the stator (5) concentric and coplanar with the rotor bracket (4); a galvanometer (17) connected to the standard coil (2), which is connected to the tested coil (3) of the stator (5) in reverse polarity to form a loop during testing. Also provided is a method for using the apparatus to test the number of turns. The apparatus for testing number of turns has a simple structure, is of great utility and can test the number of turns of a winding coil on an electrical machine stator with concentrated winding directly.

    • A system for converting digital signals in a cable network is provided. A cable head end provides a plurality of digital signals. The plurality of digital signals are grouped into a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being in a first frequency band and the second portion being in a second frequency band. The system includes a digital channel remapping module configured to select one or more digital signals from the first portion and remap the selected one or more digital signals into a first plurality of analog signals and a digital-to-analog translator configured to convert the digital signals in the second portion to a second plurality of analog signals. The first and second plurality of analog signals are combined and delivered to at least one analog device. Some or all of the second plurality of analog signals are within the first frequency band.

    • A device and method for canceling or attenuating harmonics noise without distorting the incoming signal. An exemplary device includes the use of an estimation loop to generate an artificial signal to eliminate or attenuate the influence of harmonics. The estimation loop includes a mixer adapted to produce a mixed signal by processing or combining the incoming signal and the artificial signal. The estimation loop includes an error detector, a low-pass filter, a parameter estimator, and a numerically controlled oscillator. The parameter estimator produces information relating to the phase, frequency, and amplitude of an incoming harmonics spur and will be used by the numerically controlled oscillator to generate the artificial signal. If the mixed signal contains relatively low levels of harmonics residuals, the mixed signal is produced at the output in lieu of the incoming signal.
