    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping section member that is able to secure good weld penetration by way of giving no adverse effect to weldability at the welding, without lowering its damping property so much as well as to prevent any possible deterioration of bead form due to an excessive weld heat input, besides making good welding operability securable. SOLUTION: A vibration damping section member 1 is one that a vibration damping resin material 3 is stuck to at least one side of an aluminum or aluminum alloy plate 2, and vibration damping resin material 3 is formed with each hole 3a in respective positions where plural pieces of first line rows 4 extending in the first direction and plural pieces of second line rows 5 extending in the second direction being crossed with the first direction are intersected. When plate thickness of this aluminum or aluminum alloy plate 2 constituting this vibration damping section member 1 is set to t (mm), a circle equivalent diameter of the hole 3a to D (mm), a pitch of the hole 3a set up in the first line row 4 to P (mm), and an interval among the first line rows to Q (mm), respectively, the circle equivalent diameter D of the hole 3a is 1t and 4t (mm), the pitch P is 2D and 3D (mm), and the interval Q is 0.5 and 1P (mm), respectively, therefore it is desirable that a total area of the hole 3 is less than 20% of the area of the vibration damping resin material 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method of a vibration damping section member capable of securing good weld penetration by way of giving no adverse effect to weldability at the welding, without lowering its damping property so much, even in case of this damping section stuck with a damping resin material on a thin aluminum plate of less than 2mm as well as enabling it to prevent any possible deterioration of bead of bead form due to an excessive weld heat input, thereby making good welding operability securable. SOLUTION: In time of welding a vibration damping section member 1 stuck with a damping resin material on an least one side of an aluminum or aluminum alloy plate 2, it is welded at a straight polarity ration ranging from 5 to 20% by an alternating current pulse MIG welding process which supplies a reverse polarity arc and a straight polarity arc alternately from the backside of a surface where damping resin material 3 of the aluminum or aluminum alloy plate 2 is stuck fast. In this connection, in this damping resin material 3, each hole 3a is formed in respective positions where plural pieces of first line rows 4 extending in the first direction and plural pieces of second line rows 5 extending in the second direction being intersected with the first direction, within the surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sound absorbing coefficient by preventing deterioration or breakage of a protection film enveloping a fibrous sound absorbing material and forming a surface air layer by giving an adequate clearance between the fibrous sound absorbing material and a porous board in a sound board construction comprising a frame member, a porous board portion and the fibrous sound absorbing material placed in a hollow portion of the porous board. SOLUTION: A linking portion (steped portion) 12 is formed at the side face of a fibrous sound absorbing material 3, and a linkage receiving portion 13 for receiving the linking portion 12 is integrally formed at the inner side of a frame portion 4. In this way, the protection film 2 does not contact the porous board 5, deterioration or breakage due to vibration or cleaning can be prevented, and a surface air layer 10 can be created between the fibrous sound absorbing material 3 and the porous board 5 thereby improving the sound absorbing coefficient. This sound absorbing board construction can be used, for example, as a rear surface sound absorbing board which is suspended downward below a girder of an elevated bridge.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-faced sound absorbing plate capable of having simple construction, thinning and lightening it as well as cost reduction. SOLUTION: A double-faced sound absorbing plate is constituted of a sound absorbing material 13 formed in the shape of a rectangular plate, frame bodies 14 supported by surrounding the peripheral surfaces of the sound absorbing material 13 and porous plates 11 mounted to the frame bodies 14 in a detachable manner and covering the surface of the sound absorbing material 13 through air spaces 12. Then, a sound insulation plate is not provided at an intermediate position of the double-faced sound absorbing plate. The fibrous sound absorbing material 13 is laminated with three layers, the overall thickness is 50-200 mm, and bulk specific gravity of an intermediate layer 13a is larger than that of a surface layer 13b. In order to bear the sound absorbing material 13 to control the deformation thereof when wind pressure is applied thereto, holding sections 14a for holding corner sections of the sound absorbing material 13 are provided in the insides of the frame bodies 14, and interval holding pieces 15 are provided in the air spaces 12 between the surface protection plates 11 and sound absorbing material 13. The double-faced sound absorbing plate is provided at such a position as there are noise sources on both sides.
