    • An information processor capable of arbitrarily and easily setting the print order of plural files, and creating print data from the files as one print job is provided. In the processor comprising the function of creating print data on a user interface screen based upon a prescribed file following a drag-and-drop operation of a file icon corresponding to the file or a folder icon corresponding to a folder that stores the file onto a printer icon corresponding to the image formation apparatus, plural files are managed, while being ordered, based upon a prescribed order of the file icons in a window of the folder storing the files, and print data of the plural files is created as one print job in the print order corresponding to the order in which the files are managed following the drag-and-drop operation of the folder icon onto the printer icon.

    • A document administration system includes a plurality of document storing apparatuses, and a server apparatus connected the plurality of document storing apparatuses via a network. Each of the plurality of document storing apparatuses includes a plurality of boxes for storing various information in a sorted manner, and a document storing portion for making the document storing apparatus store a document in one of the boxes. The server apparatus includes a document storing apparatus registering portion for registering information on each of the document storing apparatuses, a box information obtaining portion for obtaining information on the boxes from each of the document storing apparatuses, a storing request receiving portion for receiving a storing request of the document, a storing destination deciding portion for deciding one of the document storing apparatuses and one of the boxes thereof for actually storing the document, based on any one or more of information including information on the document corresponding to the storing request, information on the document storing apparatuses registered in the document storing apparatus registering portion, and information on the boxes obtained by the box information obtaining portion, and a controller for transmitting the document to the document storing apparatuses having the one of the boxes selected by the storing destination deciding portion and making the document storing portion store the document in the one of the boxes.

    • A user name entered on a user authentication screen is searched and if it found to be an unregistered user name a different, registered image formation apparatus is asked to act as a proxy to perform user authentication. If the apparatus returns “OK” a decision is made that the authentication of interest is “OK” and the authentication process ends. If all of the image formation apparatuses registered in a proxy authentication apparatus registration table are requested to perform user authentication do not provide an authentication “OK” a decision is made that the authentication of interest is “NG” and the authentication process ends. Thus in networked environment an image formation apparatus can be provided that can eliminate the necessity of registering information for user authentication with all image formation apparatuses and also prevent improper use by a user registered with an unintended image formation apparatus.

    • When a trouble has occurred in any one or more of copying machines, a data terminal (i.e. an equipment management apparatus) transmits to the computer of the management center the trouble data and the management data about the copying machines in which no trouble has occurred. Therefore, the management data about a plurality of copying machines can be efficiently transmitted to the computer of the management center. The copying machine of which management data is to be transmitted together with the trouble data is determined in accordance with the count number remaining until the time for the next regular maintenance comes. As a result, the management data about the copying machine which is scheduled to have regular maintenance in a near future can be transmitted to the computer of the management center prior to other data. The management center can know which copying machine is scheduled to have maintenance in a near future. As a result, a service engineer can be efficiently dispatched.
