The pattern extraction unit is configured to extract an operation pattern of each of users from operation history information obtained from a plurality of devices to be operated, the operation history information at least including information regarding operation histories of the users and device states. The rule extraction unit is configured to extract incorrect operation patterns from the operation patterns extracted by the pattern extraction unit, the incorrect operation patterns being operation patterns caused by incorrect operations performed by the users. The reflection information generation unit is configured to identify a cause of the incorrect operations from types of the incorrect operation patterns and generate, based on the cause of the incorrect operations, reflection information configured to be reflected in functions of the devices to be operated.

A spectrum measurer converts an audio signal from a time axis signal into a frequency axis signal. A compressor removes frequency spectra having levels below a minimum audible threshold value. An embedability determiner determines whether information can be embedded. A spectrum switcher embeds information in an audio signal by switching or by not switching predetermined first frequency spectrum and second frequency spectrum under the control of an information adder. The present invention is applicable to a disk recording apparatus.

The pixel data of a predetermined pixel block is selectively captured into each of the data buffer through the sense amplifiers and the switches. Selector sequentially extracts pixel data as candidate blocks based on the pixel data of two pixel blocks held in each of the data buffers. The matching circuit matches the pixel data as the extracted candidate blocks against the pixel data as the input reference block using the block-matching process to obtain a motion vector relative to the reference block.
