摘要： The invention describes a developing solvent for layers which are crosslinkable by photopolymerization and contain a binder based on an elastomeric polymer, a photopolymerizable monomer compatible therewith and a photoinitiator. The developing solvent comprises a phenol ether of the general formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 denotes (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)n-alkyl or iso-alkyl, cycloalkyl or (C.sub.6 -C.sub.12)-aryl andR.sup.2 denotes hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)n-alkyl or iso-alkyl or --OR.sup.1, and a relatively high-boiling alcohol.Compared with solvents of the prior art, the developing solvent of the present invention is non-toxic, can quickly be removed from the layer and has a high capacity for layer components.

摘要： A light-sensitive printing plate for waterless offset printing is comprised of a layer carrier, a light-sensitive layer containing a diazonium salt polycondensation product, and of an ink-repellent crosslinked silicone elastomer layer superimposed on the light-sensitive layer, wherein the diazonium salt polycondensation product comprises recurrent A-N.sub.2 X and B units which are mutually linked by bridge members, preferably methylene groups, derived from carbonyl compounds capable of condensation, A being the radical of an aromatic diazonium compound capable of condensation with formaldehyde and B being the radical of a compound, in particular an aromatic amine, a phenol, a phenol ether, an aromatic thioether, an aromatic hydrocarbon, an aromatic heterocyclic compound or an organic acid amide, that is free of diazonium groups and that is capable of condensation with formaldehyde. The printing plate can be readily developed with developers which contain organic solvents, to give printing forms with good resolution, good ink repellency in the background areas, and long print runs.

摘要： The invention relates to a liquid developer with negatively charged toner particles for developing electrostatic charge images. It is composed of a carrier liquid of high electric resistivity and low dielectric constant, pigments or dyes, a binder, a dispersing agent and a charge control agent, such as an N-vinylpyrrolidone-containing polymer, a waxy substance and conventional additives. The liquid developer additionally contains at least one wax which is readily soluble in the carrier liquid at increasing temperatures, but difficultly soluble at room temperature, which reduces the specific electric conductivity of the liquid developer and which has a softening point within a range of from about 50.degree. to 120.degree. C. and an acid number of from about 0 to 200.
