    • A propellant system for launching a large-caliber projectile includes a propellant having at least three partial charges. The first partial charge is adapted to acceleration requirements of the projectile; the second partial charge has a higher combustion velocity than that of the first partial charge; and the third partial charge has a lower combustion velocity than that of the first partial charge. The propellant system further includes an electric energy supply and control device connected to the propellant for igniting the propellant. The electric energy supply and control device has a plasma generator for affecting a combustion behavior of the propellant such as to obtain for said first partial charge, after ignition of the propellant, a maximum gas pressure level of always the same magnitude independently from an initial propellant temperature, and to obtain, for the third partial charge, a conversion such as to prolong the maximum gas pressure level in a predeterminable manner.

    • A unit for a single-lever mixing valve, includes a fixed housing defining an upper region, and a bottom, inlet region. An inner sleeve is located within the fixed housing. A cage is located within the fixed housing and adjacent to the inner sleeve. The cage is rotatable and radially displaceable relative to the housing. A spindle is swively mounted obliquely inside the inner sleeve, and engages the cage. The spindle is actuated externally relative to the fixed housing. A plurality of flat, superposed washers are provided. Each washer has at least one opening therethrough. One of the washers is an inlet valve attached to the fixed housing. Another of the washers is a distributor, temperature valve attached to the cage. Another of the washers is a volume valve forming a shim fitted between the inlet valve and the temperature valve. The volume valve and the cage are together radially displaceable on the inlet valve relative to the fixed housing. The temperature valve and the volume valve are together radially displaceable relative to the inlet valve. The temperature valve and the cage are rotatable together relative to the volume valve.

    • A storage system for the storage of setting values for adjusting devices on printing machines including a portable memory unit for the exchange of data with a device for communication, preferably disposed on the printing machine. A housing of the memory unit contains electrically operated, solid-state storage elements that are coupled to an electronic control unit for making logic decisions. The memory unit contains at least one data input in the form of at least one contactlessly working sensor and a data output in the form of at least one contactlessly scannable output element, both optically coupled to corresponding optical elements of the device for communication through viewing windows during data exchange. For the display and input of storage information and values, a display and a manual input device are located on the memory housing. The memory unit is supplied with power without metallic coupling by an external power supply which supplies a power supply internal to the memory unit with the operating energy required by means of inductive capacitive or sound generated externally to the memory unit. This assures a largely interference-proof and substantially maintenance-free data exchange.
