    • A thermal transfer recording medium comprising a foundation and a heat-meltable ink layer provided on the foundation, the ink layer containing 50 to 80% by weight of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of not more than 19% by weight, 0 to 20% by weight of a wax having a melting point of 70.degree. to 90.degree.
