摘要： An upward acting sectional door is has pinch-resistant joints and hinges. The hinges have a top member securable to an upper panel of the door and a base member securable to a lower panel of the door. The base member and top member are connected by first and second links, each of which have a first end pivotally connected to the top member and a second end pivotally connected to the base member. The geometry of the links insures that a foot which depends from the upper panel is always spaced closely enough to the lower panel that a person cannot easily insert a fingertip into the joint. The foot also acts to push a fingertip away from the joint as the door is closed. The hinge may further include a cover which acts to prevent a person from being pinched by the links or hinge members.

摘要： There is provided an autonomous off-board defensive aids system (100) for use with a host craft (102), for example, with combat aircraft or submarines. More particularly, the host craft (102) deploys a plurality of controllable off-board units (104, 106) to counter an offensive threat or to engage in autonomous offensive actions. The controllable off-board units (104, 106) implement active stealth facilities: each off-board unit (104, 106) having a receiver unit for detecting impinging detection pulses, for example radar or sonar pulses, and a transmitter unit for generating an artificial detection pulse profile, for example “spoofing” or masking the presence of the host craft. The controllable off-board units are of two types: tethered (104) and free moving (106). The off-board units (104, 106) can have conventional propulsion apparatus, for instance, propellers, rockets or jets. Off-board units (104, 106) each have control apparatus which allows the off-board units (104, 106) to co-operate. General commands are conveyed to the control apparatus by control cabling provided in the tether cable (108).

The display monitor utilizes a video streaming drive mode only when the monitor arm is docked, the display monitor is utilized in conjunction with the articulating display and control monitor device only when the monitor arm is undocked, the monitor arm docks only when the articulating display and control monitor device is docked.

The side walls are tapered outwardly so as to be stackable in a nesting relationship within a similar container with a stacking offset less than the support members vertical height whereby the support members are supported on aligned rigid support members of the similar container. Outwardly tapered stress-relieving triangular corner surfaces extend upwardly between 130° and 140° from corners of the bottom wall and connect to side walls to form each junction of the bottom wall with two side wall. A lid has a rim adapted for placement around a container rim, with inwardly projecting flanges on each of the lid rim sides whereby the flanges extend beneath a downwardly facing portion of the container rim adjacent each of the four walls to releasably secure the lid to the container rim.
