    • There is provided a plasma display apparatus and a driving method thereof, and more particularly, to a plasma display apparatus which drives an electrodes and a driving method thereof. The driving apparatus of a plasma display panel includes a plasma display panel including an electrodes; a first voltage supply unit supplying a first voltage; a first setup supply unit supplying a first ramp-up pulse rising from the first voltage to a first sum voltage corresponding to a sum of the first voltage and the second voltage to the electrodes; and a second setup supply unit supplying a second ramp-up pulse rising to a second sum voltage corresponding to a sum of the first voltage, the second voltage, and the third voltage to the electrodes after the first ramp-up pulse is applied and a second setup supply unit supplying the third voltage to the electrodes when scanning the electrodes. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the production cost by decreasing the number of components and improve a driving efficiency by raising a voltage of a setup waveform at a reset period.
