The honeycomb structure satisfies the relational expression: 0.01≤(the absolute value of (α L -α F ))/α F ≤1.0 (wherein α L is the coefficient of thermal expansion of the sealing material layer; α F is the coefficient of thermal expansion of the honeycomb unit).
