    • Embodiments of an authentication technique for online gaming are provided. In one aspect, an authentication method for online gaming includes storing a user identity of a user in a portable data storage device; providing access to the user identity for an authentication server to authenticate the user such that the authentication server allows the user to participate in online gaming when the user is authenticated; and when the online gaming continues, providing access to the user identity for the authentication server to validate the authenticity of the user at a first threshold time after the user identity is accessed previously.

    • A portable data storage device includes a first portable storage identification (PSID) parameter unique thereto, one or more data storage media in which the first PSID parameter is stored, and control logic coupled to the one or more data storage media. The data storage media include a data file section to store therein a data file, which includes data and a rights object. The rights object contains a second PSID parameter. The control logic controls access to the data storage media by a user. The control logic determines whether or not the first PSID parameter and the second PSID parameter are equal. If they are equal, it causes the data in the data file to be provided to the user in response to a request from the user. A method for realizing the device is also provided.

    • A method for protecting digital contents by using memory card encryption and decryption comprises the steps of: a format of a memory card being formatted with a special format; digital contents being encrypted from a digital content maker and then the digital contents being stored to the encrypted memory card; or the digital contents being encrypted as downloaded from a network; therefore, the digital contents in the memory card being encrypted. The digital contents is encrypted and has the format of the encrypted memory card; and the network download end has a de-formatting and decrypting tool which can de-formatting and decrypting the digital contents so as to restore the digital contents. The digital contents can be stored in an SD memory card while the digital contents will not be duplicated or copied, or amended.

    • An embedded antenna is disclosed. The embedded antenna comprises a coaxial cable and a grounding connecting part. The coaxial cable comprises a center conductor, an insulating layer and an outer sheath. The center conductor comprises a signal transmission part and a radiating part. The radiating part electrically connects the signal transmission part and provides a resonance frequency. The insulating layer covers the signal transmission part and the radiating part. The outer sheath covers the signal transmission part but not the radiating part. The grounding connecting part electrically connects the system grounding part and the outer sheath.

    • This invention provides a method and device for video-stream frame rate adaptation. The method includes: allocating a buffer space for each of at least one video conference room respectively and dividing the buffer space into at least one segment, each segment of which is used for buffering a video frame; and performing following steps for each of the at least one video conference room: generating a pulse signal for the video conference room periodically according to a certain pulse rate; and performing a data writing operation for a segment of the corresponding buffer space at an input-video-stream frame rate of the video conference room, and performing a reading operation for a segment of the buffer space at an output-video-stream frame rate. This invention also provides an FPGA chip and a video stream processing apparatus. The invention simplifies frame rate adaptation design, and reduces system processing overhead during the frame rate adaptation.
