    • The invention discloses a color correction method for adjusting the color performance of a display apparatus. The color correction method first displays a plurality of images on a panel of the display apparatus and measures the chromatic value and the luminance of each image so as to obtain the color characteristics of the display apparatus. According to the color characteristics, a corresponding color matrix is generated which is located at the CIE XYZ color space. Next, an output matrix is outputted by performing an operation between the color matrix and a gain matrix. Next, the elements in gain matrix are adjusted in order to have the output matrix be equal to a target matrix substantially. Finally, the display apparatus is set for calibrating the color performance thereof in accordance with the elements of the adjusted gain matrix.

    • The present invention relates to a color adjustment apparatus and a method thereof. The color adjustment apparatus according to the present invention includes a calculation unit and an adjustment unit. The calculation unit receives an input color signal, and divides the input color signal into color groups and performs a calculation operation thereon to generate at least two calculation signals. The adjustment unit receives the calculation signals and the input color signal, and adjusts at least one of contrast group and complement group of the input color signal according to at least two of the calculation signals and a predetermined color value to generate an output color signal for a video-display apparatus. Accordingly, viewers can enjoy better visual experience.

    • A method of detecting motion is described. A first image is captured and exposed by a digital camera. The first image information is transferred to a control device. Gray level values of a specific group in the first image are then stored. Real-time gray level values corresponding to the specific group in a real time image are subsequently captured. The real-time gray level values of the specific group in a real time image are compared with the gray level values of the specific group in the first image.
