摘要： An information recording and reproducing apparatus is constituted by a recording medium including at least a substrate, a reflection layer disposed on the substrate, and a recording layer disposed so as to interpose the reflection layer between the substrate and the recording layer; and a near-field optical head, disposed close to the recording medium, for irradiating the recording medium with near-field light to effect recording and reproduction of information. The near-field optical head includes a light-blocking metal film which includes a dielectric base material provided with a small opening and which is disposed opposite to the reflection layer disposed on the substrate so that the light-blocking metal film and the reflection layer constitute an optical resonator to increase intensity of the near-field light.

摘要： A switching power supply device in which a transformer, a first switch circuit, and an input power source are connected in series. A series circuit formed of a second switch circuit and a capacitor is connected to one end of the first switch circuit. The transformer has a driving winding which is wound in the same direction as that of the primary winding of the transformer. A capacitive impedance element including a series circuit formed of a capacitor and an inductive ferrite bead, is connected between the termination of the driving winding and the input power source. The switching power supply device uses a less capacitive impedance and thus provides higher radiation noise reduction performance, thereby preventing switching devices from being damaged due to high voltage increase rate of the switching devices.

摘要： A method of manufacturing an actuator including an ink pump section made by forming a spacer plate with a plurality of window portions formed therein, a closure plate stacked on one side of the spacer plate for covering the window portions and a connection plate stacked on the other side of the spacer plate for covering the above window portions. These plates are formed as laminated ceramic green sheets that are later fired to form an integrated body. A piezoelectric/electrostrictive operating section composed of electrodes and a piezoelectric/electrostrictive layer is then formed on the outer surface of the closure plate. Thereafter, the actuator is pasted to a holding adhesive film and the holding adhesive film is stripped from the actuator after subjecting the actuator to a given inspection, if necessary, or to cutting into a given shape, if necessary. Subsequently, the actuator is heat-treated. Then, onto this actuator, an ink nozzle member with a plurality of nozzle holes is stacked and joined. The ink jet print head has a strong adhesive joint between the actuator and the ink nozzle member and improved liquid resistance.

A further elastic member constituting the damper unit is provided between the base member and the supporting member for biasing the recording and/or reproducing unit toward the closure member against the bias of a spring plate.

It is better to mill the raw material by a bead mill such that the particle size of the metallosilicate becomes 1.0 μm or less at a cumulative frequency of 50%. It is better that as a metal component at least one metal component selected from rhenium, vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, chromium, and their compounds is supported on the metallosilicate. It is better to subject the slurry to the drying process after aging. It is better to add polyvinyl alcohol to the slurry.
