    • PURPOSE:To secure a sufficient oil film between a piston ring and a cylinder bore constantly, and to realize an operation for a long period, by setting the stroke of the piston at the minimum capacity operation of a compressor larger than the width the piston ring contacts to the cylinder bore. CONSTITUTION:When a driving shaft 1 is rotated together with a drive plate 2, a swash plate 3 is oscillated. And a piston 13 contacting with the swash plate 3 is reciprocated in the cylinder bore 16, and a piston ring 14 is slided. Furthermore, a sliding body 7 connected to the swash plate 3 is moved on the driving shaft in the axial direction. In such a compressor, a stopper 8 as a control means to regulate the movement of the sliding body 7 is fixed to the driving shaft 1. And the stroke of the piston 13 at the minimum capacity operation is set larger than the width the piston ring 14 is contacted to the cylinder bore 16. Consequently, a sufficient oil film is secured constantly between the piston ring 14 and the cylinder bore 16, and thereby the minimum capacity operation of the compressor is made possible to carry out for a long period.

    • PURPOSE:To stop auxiliary machinery during operation of an internal-combustion engine by disposing clutch means for connecting and disconnecting a mutual transmission path for turning force between a rotor and a planetary gear mechanism to release auxiliary machinery from rotating force of the internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:As a driving pulley 6 is directly driven by an engine through a belt, the driving pulley is rotated as far as the engine is rotated. The rotational frequency ratio is determined by outside diameter ratio to a pulley mounted on a crankshaft. When a switch 25 of auxiliary machinery is off, an electric current is not applied to electromagnetic solenoids 4, 5, so that both clutches 28, 29 are in the state of disengagement. Accordingly, only the driving pulley 6 integral with a cover 20 is rotated by a bearing 7, a carrier 8 and a ring gear 15 are not rotated, and a rotary shaft 17 of the auxiliary machinery is stopped.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently separate oil mists contained in a refrigerant for compression, by passing the refrigerant containing the oil mists through an oil separator formed by laminating plural grooved plates between a rear plate and a cover, which are provided to the inside of a compressor. CONSTITUTION:In a vane-type compressor, a refrigerant, which contains lubricating oil mists and has retrurned to the compressor from a refrigerating cycle, enters through an inlet port 15 to separate the oil mists by an oil separator provided to the inside of a chamber 11. The oil separator is constituted of a rear plate 2, plural grooved plates 26, and a cover 27; a mixed gas of the refrigerant and oil mists, after being compressed in a compression chamber 17, flows out to a gas path of the cover 27 through a path 33 of the rear plate 2 and paths 30 of the grooved plates 26. At this time, the refrigerant containing the oil mists passes through a central hole 34 of the plate 26 and flows between the plates 26 in the direction approximately perpendicular to grooves 35. During this time, the oil mists are captured by the grooves 35 and flow downward along the grooves 35 while growing to large oil drops, and are perfectly separated from the refrigerant and stored in an oil reservoir 24.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the flow loss of oil caused by reciprocal movement of vanes of a rotary vane type compressor and to reduce the weight of a rotor, by shaping the rotor in the manner to have a hollow annular space on the inside thereof, using the hollow annular space as a passage for communicating vane slots with each other, and thereby increasing the sectional area of the fluid passage. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 18 is obtained by coupling a pair of crown-shaped half parts 22 together, in the manner that a hollow annular space 23 is formed around the rotor 18 on the inside thereof. Here, the thickness of the rotor 18 at its peripheral portion is selected to be small to such an extent that the rear end portion of a vane 20 is projected slightly into the hollow space 23 at its maximum projected position. Further, the hollow space 23 communicates vane slots 19 with each other and is filled with oil for applying back pressure to the vanes 20 fitted in respective vane slots 19 and for lubricating the vane slots 19. By employing such an arrangement, it is enalbed to reduce the weight of the rotor 18 itself and also to reduce the flow loss of oil since the vane slots 19 are communicated with each other in the hollow space 23.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce noise generated by the pressure variation of an emitting gas,by separating the oil in a compressed mixed gas consisting of a cooling medium and oil mist emitted from the emitting port of a compressor in a compression chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cooling medium returned to a compressor from a freezing cycle is flowed into a low pressure chamber 16 formed in a front cover 10 from a cooling medium suction port 15 formed to said front cover 10. Said cooling medium enters compression chambers 17 through passing orifices 18 provided to the plate 1 of a front side in numbers corresponded to the numbers of the compression chambers 17 formed by a cam ring 3 and a rotor 5, passing orifices 19 provided to the cam ring 3 and suction ports 20 communicated with the passing orifices 19 and compression chambers 17. The cooling medium is compressed between vanes 7 by the rotation of the rotor 5 and, while emitted to an emitting pressure chamber in a chamber 11 through emitting ports 21 and emitting valves 22, introduced into an oil separator consisting of a groove plate 26, a cover 27 and a rear plate 2 in the chamber 11 to separate the oil therein and the oil separated cooling medium is flowed out from an emitting port 23.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the internal shape of a compressor by spraying the circulating oil in a refrigerating cycle direction to sliding sections by use of a suction action of the compressor so as to lubricate the sliding sections. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerant gas entered through a suction port 18 is separated into a refrigerant and oil by means of the difference between inertia forces of the refrigerant and the oil when turned through a low pressure gas passage 20, and the oil is fed into a small sump 30'. A pipe 31 is connected from this sump 30' to the low pressure gas passage 20, and a small hole 32 is provided on said pipe downstream the flow of the refrigerant. When the refrigerant gas flows through the low pressure gas passage 20, the vicinity of the small hole 32 of the pipe 31 becomes a negative pressure, sucking oil from the pump 30' in a form of mist, which, together with the refrigerant gas is sucked into a crank case so as to be sprayed to various sliding sections for lubrication.
