摘要： A method of processing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material and a bleach-fixer applicable in the method are disclosed. The method comprises a step for developing the light-sensitive material with a color developer, and a step for bleach-fixing the developed light-sensitive material with a bleach-fixer. The light-sensitive material contains at least one silver halide emulsion layer comprising silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of not less than 80 mol %; the bleach-fixer contains a ferric organic acid complex in an amount of not less than 0.2 mol per liter and silver halide fixing agent in an amount of not less than 0.7 mol per liter; and the step for treating with the bleach-fixer is performed for a time of not more than 30 seconds. Bleach-fixing process can be performed stably and rapidly without formation of reticulation and staining on edge portion of the light-sensitive.

摘要： An image stabilizer for silver halide photographic materials which contains a water-soluble bismuth compound is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the stabilizer also contains a water soluble chelating agent capable of forming a bismuth complex or its salt having a stability constant (-log KMA) of 3 or more, said constant being represented by formula (I):KMA=([MA]/[M] [A]) (I)wherein M is a bismuth ion and A is a complex forming anion. By using this stabilizer, the processed dye image is kept stable over an extended period and the occurrence of yellow stain in the non-image area is inhibited. The stabilizer is applicable not only to color photographic materials but also to black-and-white materials.
