摘要： A solid state imaging device is provided that comprises a photoelectric conversion element, a capacitor, a transfer transistor, a reset transistor, an amplifier transistor, and an electrical conductor. The solid state imaging device has a light receiving surface comprising plural pixels. The photoelectric conversion element generates an electrical charge according to the received light amounts. The capacitor receives the electrical charge from the photoelectric conversion element. The reset transistor sweeps out the electrical charge stored in the capacitor. The amplifier transistor outputs a pixel signal according to a voltage of the capacitor. The select-line connects with a main electrode of the amplifier transistor. Through the select-line, either the ON-signal or the OFF-signal flows. The ON-signal makes an amplifier transistor output the pixel signal. The OFF-signal makes the amplifier transistor stop outputting the pixel signal.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, a plurality of video signal lines for supplying video signal voltages to the pixels, respectively, and a drive circuit for selecting a voltage level of a gray scale voltage varying periodically. As one of the video signal voltages corresponding to display data to be supplied to one of the plurality of pixels. The drive circuit has a plurality of processing circuits connected to each other in series by a processing result transmitting line, and display data lines are formed to intersect with the processing result transmitting line for supplying the display data to the processing circuits. The processing circuits are arranged in correspondence with crossing points of the display data lines and the processing result transmitting line.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes plural pixels, video signal lines coupled to the pixels, a video signal line drive circuit, a power supply for supplying a time-varying gray scale voltage, and a display control circuit for supplying N-bit display data and N kinds of time-varying control signals. The video signal line drive circuit includes: plural switching circuits each associated with a respective one of the video signal lines and comprising N switching elements. The N switching elements each select one of the respective one of the N kinds of time control signals and a first fixed voltage in accordance with the display data. The N kinds of time control signals are such pulses as to uniquely determine a time represented by the display data based upon it. Plural logic circuits each associated with the respective video signal lines are supplied with the selected signals from the switching elements, and are configured so as to change state when all the selected signals are the first fixed voltage. The output circuits each associated with a respective one of the video signal lines are configured so as to supply a voltage level of the gray scale voltage at an instant when a corresponding one of the logic circuits changes state, to the video signal lines.

摘要： A solid state image pickup device having a plurality of solid state elements in a two-dimensional array so as to form picture cells. Each solid state element includes a photoelectric converting element and a switching field effect transistor to permit scanning of the elements by scanners. To counteract noise and blooming, a second field effect transistor acting as an amplifier is connected between the photoelectric converting element and the switching field effect transistor. A third field effect transistor is coupled to the photoelectric converting element for resetting the same.

摘要： A charge transfer semiconductor device is made of a semiconductor body on one surface of which is formed an insulating layer of SiO.sub.2. A plurality of first series of electrodes of Al are disposed on the SiO.sub.2 layer and oxide regions (Al.sub.2 O.sub.3) of the first series of electrodes are disposed on side surfaces of the first series of electrodes, which are formed by oxidizing the side surfaces of the first series of electrodes. A plurality of second series of electrodes is provided, each of which is disposed between a pair of the first series of electrodes so as to be separated from the first series of electrodes by the oxide region. Finally, means are connected to the electrodes for forming spatially defined depletion regions in the surface of the semiconductor body beneath the electrodes and for transferring charges between the depletion regions.
