CONSTITUTION:In the connecting coordinates of master and slave parts, partial graphics A03 to E03 stored in a VRAM are plotted by a CPU so that the coordinates of a certain point specified in the graphic of the master part are superposed to the coordinates of a certain point specified in the graphic of the slave part to form a cluster. Namely when a point obtained by counting 4 dots in the x direction (right direction) and 10 dots in the y direction (lower direction) from the upper left end of the circumscribed rectangle of a graphic for the upper half of a body A03 is difined as coordinates (4, 10), the point is specified as the connecting coordinates with a slave part B03 (lower half of the body). On the other hand, the coordinates (2, 5) of the B03 (the lower half of the body) are specified as the connecting coordinates with the master part A03 (the upper part of the body). Since the graphics are plotted so that both the points A03 (4, 10), B03 (2, 5) are superposed, the cluster can be plotted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device and method for deforming characters and graphics, capable of applying deformation with relative ease, when a character string or the whole of a graphic group is desired to be deformed all at once under certain regularity. SOLUTION: A character string or a graphic group inputted via an input means 1 is displayed on the screen of a display means 11, and a zone specifying means 12 specifies the display position and size of the character string or the graphic group as a deformation processing object, as a zone on the screen. Furthermore, a first selection menu generation means 5 makes the deformed shape example of the deformation processing zone as a menu on the display means 11, and selectively specifies a single deformation shape. Also, the second selection menu generation means 5 causes the display means 11 to display a deformation status example for a plurality of different types of a deformation effect applicable to the character string or the graphic group as a deformation processing object on the display means 11 and selects a single deformation status. Then, the data of a character string or a graphic group is processed and deformed to a specified deformation shape and status via a deformation means 7.
