    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor and method of supplying fuel to it, increasing a mixing characteristic of liquid fuel to air.
      SOLUTION: This gas turbine combustor that mixes liquid fuel and gas fuel with air for combustion comprises a mixing chamber 4 being formed in approximately conical shape expanding toward the downstream side and having a plurality of air introduction holes on the side wall part, a liquid fuel nozzle 10 being placed on the upstream side of the mixing chamber 4 and injecting the liquid fuel to the inner wall surface of the air introduction hole 17 for collision, and gas fuel nozzles 9 being arranged opposite to the air introduction holes 17-19, injecting the gas fuel approximately coaxially with the axes of the air introduction holes 17-19, and supplying the gas fuel inside the mixing chamber 4 via the air introduction holes 17-19.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly monitor pressure distribution variation due to the occurrence of abnormal combustion and simultaneously monitor a temperature change of a flame holder positioned most in the vicinity of a combustion part by deciding combustion abnormality according to a pressure difference between a combustion air inlet part and a combustion part downstream part and the temperature of a combustor high temperature member to adjust the fuel quantity to the combustor. SOLUTION: A thermometer 12 inserted in a flame holder 9, and a differential pressure gauge 13 for measuring a differential pressure between an air passage and a combustion part 11 are installed in a combustor 3, and a thermometer 14 for measuring the exhaust temperature distribution and an NOx meter 15 for measuring NOx of exhaust gas are installed in an exhaust part of a turbine 4. When abnormal combustion is decided according to the information from the respective measuring points, diffusion and pre-mixture fuel quantity adjust valves 5, 6 are operated, and simultaneously the information on the combustion condition and combustor inspection is displayed on a display device 17. Thus, the pressure distribution variation and the flame holder temperature change are directly monitored, so that stable operability is determined at the stage where symptom of abnormal combustion is generated. Accordingly, fuel input amount is adjusted to prevent abnormal combustion.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress incomplete ignition at the time of starting operation by providing a sound wave generator in each branch pipe of a manifold for supplying fuel to a plurality of gas turbines, receiving a sound wave generated from the sound wave generator by means of a sound wave receiver and detecting gas in the branch pipe thereby controlling an igniter. SOLUTION: When a gas turbine combustor 3 is ignited, a gas turbine 2 is rotated with external energy up to an ignition r.p.m. and fuel gas required for ignition is thrown into a diffusion burner 8 while being regulated by means of a pressure regulation valve 17 and a flow regulation valve 16 before being ignited by means of an igniter 19 and combusted. After ignition, fuel gas is supplied to a premix fuel nozzle 11 and mixed with compressed air 12 by means of a premixer 10 before a premixed flame is formed by means of a flame holder 9. A fuel branch pipe 18 is provided with a sound wave generator comprising a loud speaker and a frequency oscillator 28, a generated sound wave is detected by means of a sound wave receiver comprising a microphone and a frequency analyzer 30 and abnormal combustion is detected based on the variation of the sound wave.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stabilized combustion by placing an annular member for rectifying flow of fluid in an interconnected fluid channel on the outer circumferential side of a combustion chamber tubular member thereby suppressing diverted flow of oxidizing agent in the circumferential direction of a combustor. SOLUTION: A perforated panel 17 is fixed, as a rectifying mechanism, between a protrusion 15 provided in the vicinity of the outlet of a combustion chamber and a protrusion 16 provided at the inlet of a premixer. Since the perforated panel 17 is disposed at an enlarged part of a channel, cross-sectional average current velocity is low and the high current velocity region of a diverted flow in the circumferential direction of a combustor generated by the outer tube 14 of a plug can be attenuated. Since a channel enlarging part for enlarging the channel area from the upstream toward the downstream of oxidizing agent is provided in a curved channel on the upstream side of a rotary section, and a rectifying mechanism is provided at the channel enlarging part or on the downstream side thereof, diverted flow in the circumferential direction of the combustor is limited. In particular, high current velocity region of a diverted flow in the circumferential direction of the combustor can be attenuated and combustion can be stabilized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the burning loss of a flame propagating tube upon load operation without reducing a combustion gas temperature by a method wherein the entering of air into the flame propagating tube is prevented upon ignition while air is introduced into the flame propagating tube after finishing the ignition. SOLUTION: Combustion gas 12 is injected into a gas turbine 2 through a transition piece 10 to drive the gas turbine 2. A flame propagating tube 8 is inserted into an inner cylinder 5 and a cover 17, made of a bidirectional shape memory alloy, is installed on a plurality of cooling ports 16, formed on the flame propagating tube 8 to deform the cover 17 by the shape memory effect thereof and open or close the cooling ports 16. The cover 17 is attached so as to close the cooling ports 16 of the flame propagating tube 8 upon igniting a combustor to preclude the inflow of compressed air 11 into the flame propagating tube 8 through the cooling ports 16. Upon load operation, the cooling ports 16 are brought into opened condition and, as a result, the compressed air 11 flows into the flame propagating tube 8 through the cooling ports 16 whereby the temperature rise of the flame propagating tube 8 due to high-temperature combustion gas can be prevented.

A connection member 2a is inserted into the through-holes 3, and both ends of the connection member 2a are engaged with enlarged holes 6a, 6b on the ends of the through-holes 3. The connection member 2a is made up of intermediate fiber part, that is, a fiber bundle 4a or knitted fiber 4b and both end fiber reinforced metal part, that is, hook part 5, a screw part 7, and a screw part 8. The screw part 7 is inserted into the through hole 3, the nut 8 is screwed for installation.
