    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric converter exhibiting high heat exchange efficiency, durability and reliability.
      SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion unit 1 in which a plurality of P type thermoelectric elements 11p and a plurality of N type thermoelectric elements 11n are connected electrically and alternately by an upper electrode 7 and a lower electrode 8 provided with thin planar bases 15 and 17 and pin-like members 16 and 18 extending in the vertical direction therefrom. The upper and lower electrodes 7 and 8 have flexible structure and when the thermoelectric elements 11n and 11p are held between insulating substrates 22 and 23 and supported, poor contact due to thermal deformation of the thermoelectric elements 11n and 11p can be prevented resulting in a highly reliable thermoelectric conversion unit 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamometer capable of quantitatively measuring squeeze strength in the feeble power range. SOLUTION: In the dynamometer 1, a first grip 21 and a second grip 22 are disposed adjacent to each other so that a user can grasp the grips by one hand. A first face 21b of the first grip 21 in contact with the second grip 22 is a curved face (convex face), and a second face 22a of the second grip 22 in contact with the first face 21b is a flat plane. The curved face 21b and the flat plane 22a are brought into contact with each other always in a part when a pressure is applied, and as a pressure is generated in the part, the pressure is detected as squeeze strength by a sheet-like pressure sensor 31. The dynamometer 1 can measure the squeeze strength without using a member to be deformed with the squeeze strength of a spring or a beam, or without regard to the grasping shape of a hand. Therefore, the dynamometer 1 is suitable for quantitatively detecting the squeeze strength in the feeble power range.
