The 1st constraint point 21 located on the visible outline J corresponding to the outer peripheral edge of the punch pressing face 16 and the 2nd constraint point 22 located at the inner part of the visible outline J are selected and the depth position of the respective constraint point 21, 22 is set. the shape of the curved face K stipulated for by a finite element method is found by constraining the constraint points 21, 22 at the depth position and a blank holder face 14a and inner push face (m) are then obtd. With this die, the quality of a press forming product can be increased and the time spent for the design manufacture of a die can be curtailed.
