Independent claims are included for: (1) a composition for surface modification or coating comprising (I); (2) the surface modification of particles or films comprising applying the compositions containing (I) either under mixing, or in the presence of pure crosslinking catalyst, or from suitable organic and/or inorganic solvents on the particle surface or from emulsion, where the compounds react covalently or physically; and (3) the surface modification of particle surfaces comprising modifying the particle or a matrix dispersed particle by adding (Q) under mixing and optionally adding a suitable catalyst.     • Preparation of silicone(meth)acrylate particle (Q), comprises preparing an emulsion from aqueous and an organic phase under the addition of at least an emulsifier and optionally one or more coemulsifiers, where the organic phase: contains terminal and/or side group modified organopolysiloxane (I) or its mixture, and forms the inner phase of the emulsion; and polymerizing the inner phase in the presence of a radical initiator (0.1-40 wt.%), which is added to the outer phase (aqueous phase).
