    • A radio configured to dynamically control cancellation of undesired signals in an audio stream. The radio includes a noise cancellation processor configured to receive an audio stream from a user and to alter information in the audio stream by filtering out undesired signals in the audio stream. The radio also includes a receiving component configured to receive a data packet from a remote device, to retrieve configuration information from the data packet, and to dynamically apply the configuration information, while the radio is being used by a user, to settings associated with the noise cancellation processor. A dynamically enabled noise cancellation processor suppresses undesired signals associated with a subsequent incoming audio stream provided by the user and transmits at least one of an altered audio stream or an unaltered audio stream to the remote device.

    • Briefly, according to the invention, a noise-cancelling microphone apparatus 302 is disclosed. The microphone comprises a housing 510 and a sound transducer 502 mounted within the housing 510. The housing has first 514 and second sides 512 and the transducer 502 has first 304 and second sound ports 308 coupled to the first 514 and second sides 512 of the housing respectively. The microphone 302 also includes a mounting clip 310 coupled to one side of the housing 512 in the proximity of one of the sound ports 308. The mounting clip 310 is intended for mounting the microphone 302 to a user so as to substantially close the sound port 308 when microphone 302 is attached.

    • A feed gate arrangement is provided for the feeder units of automated poultry feed systems and the like, of the type having at least one feed conveyor with a moving feed carrier, such as an endless drag chain, conveyor belt, or similar structure. The feeder unit includes a housing through which the conveyor chain translates, and a mechanism to add fresh, make-up feed to the conveyor chain. The feed gate comprises a valve plate slidably mounted for vertical movement in an outlet trough of the housing, and meters the flow of feed onto the underpassing conveyor chain. The valve plate includes a laterally extending adjustment tab, which overlies an exterior surface of the housing, and is detachably anchored thereto at various vertical positions for adjusting the conveyor feed level from the exterior of the feeder unit.

    • A single lever mixing faucet is comprised of a body having a through bore in which a spindle is mounted for rotary and axial movement, a pivot member rotatably mounted on the body on which is pivoted an operating handle one end of which engages the upper end of the spindle so that upon pivotal motion of the handle in a vertical plane the spindle is moved between open and closed positions and upon rotary motion of the pivot member the spindle is rotated between hot and cold positions. The pivot member also provides stop means to limit the vertical movement of the spindle in either direction and serves as a retainer for a cover member which encloses at least a portion of the body. The cover member has an access opening and may be rotated to position the opening opposite either of two spring pressed seats in the hot and cold inlet ports. The spindle has an elongated chamber within it and passages in the spindle walls establish communication between the chamber and the inlets. The chamber opens to the exterior at the bottom of the spindle where means are provided to connect a spray attachment to the chamber within the spindle. A one-way valve allows flow of fluid from the chamber to the spray attachment but prevents reverse flow.
