摘要： Razors are provided that include (a) a handle, (b) a cartridge having a body, the body having a surface for engaging the skin of the user and having at least one blade mounted therein, (c) a coupling constructed to pivotably mount the cartridge on the handle so that the cartridge may rotate about an axis generally parallel to the surface of said cartridge body which engages the skin of the user, and, (d) within the handle, a controller including a coil configured for non-contacting transmission and reading of data from the cartridge. Cartridges for such razors, and methods of using such razors and cartridges are also provided.
