    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress actuation of an internal combustion engine for increasing a cooling water temperature during vehicle startup.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioning device is applied to the vehicle which includes an electric drive motor and the internal combustion engine EG as driving sources for outputting a drive force for vehicle running. The air conditioner for the vehicle includes: a heating means 36 for heating blast air, which is sent into a vehicle interior, by using the cooling water of the internal combustion engine EG as a heat source; a request signal output means 50a for outputting a request signal for operating the internal combustion engine EG until the cooling water temperature reaches an upper-limit temperature Twoff, to a drive force control means 70 for controlling the actuation of the internal combustion engine EG, when performing the air heating of the vehicle interior; and an upper-limit temperature determining means S1176 for determining the upper-limit temperature. The upper-limit temperature determining means S1176 increases the upper-limit temperature Twoff during vehicle startup in progression with the lapse of time.
