摘要： A device and method for processing an image to create appearance and shape labeled images of a person or object captured within the image. The appearance and shape labeled images are unique properties of the person or object and can be used to re-identify the person or object in subsequent images. The appearance labeled image is an aggregate of pre-stored appearance labels that are assigned to image segments of the image based on calculated appearance attributes of each image segment. The shape labeled image is an aggregate of pre-stored shape labels that are assigned to image segments of the image based on calculated shape attributes of each image segment. An identifying descriptor of the person or object can be computed based on both the appearance labeled image and the shape labeled image. The descriptor can be compared with other descriptors of later captured images to re-identify a person or object.

摘要： A method and system for determining the connectivity of a virtual private network IP security (IPSec) tunnel between two network elements by originating a plurality of connection tests between the network elements. The first network element transmits a connectivity test message to the second network element over the secure tunnel upon receipt of an initiate connectivity test command. The secure tunnel includes two unidirectional tunnels. The second network element receives the connectivity test message over the first unidirectional secure tunnel and transmits a response back to the first network element over the second unidirectional secure tunnel. The number of successful responses received from the second network element are accumulated and the results are reported back to the source of the connectivity test command.

The method includes: transmitting to the memory a first command that instructs the memory to hold the data information in the memory; transmitting to the memory controller a second command that adjusts the first frequency of the memory controller to a second frequency; and transmitting to the memory a third command that instructs the memory to exchange the data information according to the second frequency of the memory controller. According to the disclosure, it is possible to dynamically adjust the frequency of the memory during operation, avoiding the need of the user to turn off and then turn on the electronic device to adjust the frequency of the memory.

The optical disc drive comprises: a tray for laying a disc therein; a drive means connected to the tray; and a control circuit for connecting the drive means and a power supply of a computer connected to the optical disc drive, wherein the drive means establishes an electrical connection with the power supply via the control circuit. The control circuit comprises: a determination unit for determining whether a optical disc drive power-off condition is valid and acquiring a determination result; and a power supply control unit for transmitting a power-off instruction to a computer host when the determination result indicates that the optical disc drive power-off condition is valid. The power-off instruction is configured for instructing the computer to control the power supply to stop supplying power to the control circuit and the drive means. The present invention enables complete power-off of the optical disc drive so that electrical power consumption is reduced to a maximum degree.
