    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling crane, capable of reducing inertia force to be transmitted to a traveling part, restraining vibration of the whole crank, preventing a wheel from slipping off, and preventing the traveling crane from overturning, by decreasing acceleration to be generated on a heavy article through a process of elastically supporting the heavy article such as a girder and a machine chamber in relation to the traveling part in an earthquake. SOLUTION: A girder 2 extending in the horizontal direction perpendicular to rails 6, 7 are arranged above a traveling part 3 capable of freely traveling along the rails 6, 7 through an elastic body such as rubber so as to be freely moved in the longitudinal direction, and a machine chamber 14 is arranged on the girder 2 through an elastic body such as rubber so as to be freely moved in the longitudinal direction of the girder 2. A suspending supporting members having the L-shaped sections are arranged at a distance on the lower surface of an upper end horizontal frame of the traveling part 3 so that flange parts may face the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the girder 2 (in the direction parallel to the rails 6, 7), and the flange part of a locking piece projectingly provided on the upper surface of the girder 2 is placed on the flange part of the suspending supporting member through the elastic body such as rubber.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the horizontal force applied to the sea side of a quay by arranging a sea side support leg and land side support leg as a rigid leg structure on a running part main body and also installing a locker beam for supporting a wheel swingably around a pivot pin in parallel with a seal side rail on the lower end of the sea side support leg. SOLUTION: When a sea side support leg 9 and land side support leg 10 are arranged as a rigid leg structure on a running part main body 11 and also a locker beam 13 for supporting a wheel 8 is installed swingably around a pivot pin 12' in parallel with a sea side rail 6 on the lower end of the sea side support leg 9, as the sea side support leg 9 is not in a swing leg structure for the running part main body 11, not only the vertical load of a running crane but also the horizontal load are supported on the sea side support leg 9. But, at the generating time of an earthquake and the blowing time of a strong wind, as the locker beam 13 is swung around the pivot pin 12' for the sea side support leg 9, the horizontal force by the earthquake and wind is not applied to the sea side of a quay 5 whose base is weak and unfavorable on a strength.
