    • A method for merging storage space of multiple universal serial bus (USB) flash drives is applied in a computing device. The method detects USB flash drives plugged into USB ports of the computing device and checks respective storage capacities, stored files, and available storage space of the USB flash drives. A virtual USB flash drive including all the stored files of the USB flash drives is created. Files of the virtual USB flash drive are related to the USB flash drives. A file may be copied from a data processing device connected to the computing device to the virtual USB flash drive and split for storage between more than one USB flash drive, or a second file may be copied from one or more USB flash drives to the data processing device through the virtual USB flash drive.

    • A vision correction instrument includes a display device, a support frame and a keyboard. The display device is provided on the support frame; the display device and the keyboard are in wireless connection; a power button is provided on the display device; and a certain distance is provided between the display device and the keyboard. A method of correcting vision includes the following steps: starting the display device; inputting the numbers or letters shown on a screen through the keyboard and pressing an enter key; repeating the previous step operation; returning to an initial state; and closing the display device. The vision correction instrument makes the ciliary muscle of the eyes continuously constrict and relax to adjust the change of lens, alleviate eye fatigue, increase ciliary activity and achieve the purpose of treatment of myopia.

    • A method is performed in a data storage device that includes a controller coupled to a non-volatile memory. The non-volatile memory includes a group of storage elements. Each storage element is configured to store multiple data bits. Data is sent from the controller to the non-volatile memory and first bits corresponding to a first portion of the data are stored into the group of storage elements during a first write stage. Each storage element of the group of storage elements stores at least one bit of the first bits upon completion of the first write stage. Second bits corresponding to a second portion of the data are sent to a second memory without sending the first bits to the second memory. The second bits are retrieved from the second memory and at least the second bits are stored into the group of storage elements during a second write stage.
