摘要： The throttle mechanism for controlling the operation of an engine, has an accelerator pedal (15) coupled to a rotary element (17) that supports an adjuster (12) which is coupled to the throttle actuator. The coupling is in the form of link (18) that is pivot mounted (11') on the adjuster. The rotary element carries a link (32) that eventually engages teeth (33) on the link. Initially the rotary element is held against a stop (31) and any foot movement initially only displaces the adjuster without teeth engagement and away from the set position. The position depends upon whether the engine is cold or warm.

摘要： A fuel injection system is proposed which serves to provide the most precise possible adaptation of the fuel-air mixture to operating conditions of the internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system includes metering valves, each of which is assigned one regulating valve, whose movable valve element can be exposed on the one hand to the fuel pressure downstream of the respective metering valve and on the other hand to the pressure in a control pressure line, which is limited on the one hand by an electro-fluid converter of the nozzle/bounce plate type and on the other hand by a control throttle. The electro-fluid converter is triggerable in accordance with operating characteristics of the engine. A pressure limitation valve is embodied as a diaphragm valve and serves to regulate the most precise possible system pressure in the engine and, when the engine is shut off, it serves to reduce the fuel pressure in the fuel injection system below the fuel pressure required for opening the injection valves and to block the return flow lines.

The second stop (32) acts upon a regulator shaft (35) mounted in the regulator housing (12). A clutch (38) mounted between the choke valve shaft (16) and the regulator shaft (35) is automatically engaged when the regulator housing (12) is flange-mounted.

摘要： In fuel feeding piston pumps, there is a danger that the shaft bearing be affected by fuel entering the area of the shaft bearing. In the disclosed fuel pump (2), a separating space (20) is provided between the shaft bearing (14) and a fuel-containing chamber (16). The separating space (20) contains air, for example, as separating medium, and communicates with an air inlet of the internal combustion engine. This ensures that no fuel can escape into the area of the shaft bearing (14) nor outwards. This fuel pump is particularly suitable for internal combustion engines in which the fuel must be supplied under high pressure.

摘要： An axial piston pump comprising a housing (10) mounting piston and cylinder elements (11) has a swash plate (26) for reciprocating the pistons (20), the swash plate being rotatable by a drive shaft (27) and pivotable about a pin (28) by an axially movable intermediate member (33) to alter the strokes of the pistons. The intermediate member has a slot (38) which embraces the pin (28) to ensure that it rotates with the swash plate. A displacing device (41) acts on a face (35) of the intermediate member to cause a projection (39) on the latter to pivot the swash plate. A number of different displacing devices are proposed but the device shown is preferred. It includes a rotary shaft (44) having an eccentric portion (43) for cooperation with the face (35) via a sliding element (42). Rotation of the shaft (44) is effected by an electric motor (45) having a worm (46') meshing with a worm wheel (46'') connected to the shaft (44). In order to provide an indication of the swash plate angle adjustment a sensor (47) is provided to count the number of rotations made by the motor (45).
