    • A piperazinylcarbostyril compound of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkenyl group, a lower alkynyl group, or a phenyl-lower alkyl group;R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkoxy group;R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkanoyl group, a furoyl group, a pyridylcarbonyl group, a lower alkanesulfonyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl-lower alkyl group, a phenylsulfonyl group which may be substituted with a lower alkyl group on the benzene ring thereof, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkenyl group, a lower alkynyl group, a phenylcarbonyl group, a phenyl-lower alkyl group or a phenyl-lower alkanoyl group where each of said phenylcarbonyl group, phenyl-lower alkyl group and phenyl-lower alkanoyl group may be substituted with 1 to 3 of a lower alkoxy group, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a hydroxy group, a lower alkanoylamino group, a lower alkylthio group and a lower alkanoyloxy group, or with a lower alkylenedioxy group on the benzene ring thereof; andthe bonding between the 3- and 4-positions of the carbostyril nucleus is a single bond or a double bond; or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, useful as a cardiotonic agent.

    • A suspension for disc drive includes a base plate, a load beam, and a flexure. The flexure includes a metal base member and a circuit member disposed along the metal base member. The circuit member extends in a longitudinal direction of the load beam. The circuit member includes a resin base member formed of an electrically insulating resin and conductors. The conductors are formed into predetermined circuit patterns by etching a deposited copper layer deposited on the resin base member. Each conductor has a cross section in the shape of a trapezoid such that the width of a surface of the conductor which faces the resin base member is greater than that of a surface of the conductor on the side opposite from the resin base member.

    • A head suspension for a hard disk drive has a base attached to a carriage of the hard disk drive and is turned around a spindle. A load beam includes a rigid part and a resilient part which applies load onto a head at a front end of the load beam to write and read data to and from a disk arranged in the hard disk drive. The rigid part is supported to the base through the resilient part. A flexure is attached to at least the rigid part of the load beam and has read/write wiring patterns connected to the head. A recessed portion or a through-hole portion is formed in at least one of the load beam and the base for avoiding vibration contact of the flexure.

    • A thermally sensitive recording paper having a recording surface which when a postage stamp or a revenue stamp is adhered to the recording surface requires at least ten cycles of a removal test procedure to remove at least one third of the adhered surface of the stamp from the recording surface of the thermally sensitive recording paper, wherein the removal test procedure comprises adhering the postage stamp or revenue stamp to the recording surface of the thermally sensitive recording paper, hanging the recording paper over an iron bar of about 8 mm diameter with the postage stamp or revenue stamp on an outer surface of the recording paper, adjusting the recording paper such that equal lengths are on either side of the iron bar, attaching to one end of the thermally sensitive recording paper a weight of about 500 g, holding the other end of the thermally sensitive recording paper by hand and carrying out a pull down ant put back cycle motion of the hand to move the postage stamp or revenue stamp over the iron bar until at least a portion of the postage stamp or revenue stamp is removed from the surface of the recording paper.
